  1. I like that last picture in particular :). I like what she did with her hair, too. Fancied up a bit, yet still simple.
  2. Funny, just recently I was actually trying to recall if I'd ever seen Chris in a suit and tie before, and I couldn't think of any times I had (unless there were moments in the past and I'd just missed them). Well, now that's a question solved :D.
  3. *Wolf whistles* Lookin' GOOD, Chris . Between him in his suit and the pictures I've seen of Gwenyth in her incredibly gorgeous dress, they make quite the dapper pair!
  4. Holy crap. I. Want. That. Dress. My god, she looks stunning.
  5. Hooray, it played all right! Good show! Made little notes of stuff to comment on :D. Few things first off: 1. CURLS! My god, Chris's hair in this.... 2. Geez, I got emotional just watching "Fix You" on here. God help me when I go see the band in August, I'm liable to be a total wreck then when they do that song. My friends are going to wonder what the hell's wrong with me :laugh3:. 3. "Ring Of Fire"? AMAZING (and hot, I gotta say) :D. That was so great, I loved that. And finally, have to give it up to Jonny in this show. So many fantastic moments featuring him *Bows to Jonny*.
  6. It is :). I remember seeing a "Top 40 of 2011" thing at the end of last year that was talking about their video for "Every Teardrop is a Waterfall", and one of the commentators was talking about how Chris is back to skipping/hopping around in the video. The commentator was glad to see that-they theorized skipping and hopping were the only ways he ever traveled anywhere :p.
  7. Indeed. That's one of the amazing things about music, how it can bring all sorts of people together and give them something to connect so strongly to. The fact that he wrote that for his wife just makes me love that song all the more. That's so sweet and touching.
  8. Good point :laugh3:! I love watching hm just go for it on stage. When I see the artist themselves having fun, it's contagious at that point. You had better believe I will be standing up and dancing my heart out at the show I go to later this year. My friends will probably support me in this, but even so, if I'm the only one in my section or whatever, I don't care. I'm going to the concert to have fun, damnit! (You all should've seen me at the Muse concert I went to a number of years ago. I'm surprised I didn't smack somebody in the face, my hands were flailing every which way. I was just rocking my little heart out the whole time) This is a thread I think I'll need to sit down and go back through properly :D.
  9. I don't watch "Project Runway" but I do know of Tim Gunn and I like him, and if he says she looks good, then I'd say that's about as high a compliment as you can get. I can't see the picture of her in her pretty dress, though :(.
  10. It's so colorful. The guys probably mistook the colored letters for candy (or cake) or something . Row, I didn't know you made that! It looks fantastic. And the fact that these funny bits are in the banner (which I didn't notice until people started pointing them out) just makes it all the better, I say :). She's a talented girl, Row *Glances over at her pretty new avatar*.
  11. Nice! For a band that gets poked fun at often, that's a LOT of people following/searching them out...
  12. That website DOES look cool indeed. I could be spending a bit of time on there . I am so sorry to hear about what you're going through. You have my complete sympathy. "Fix You" is perfect that way. I wonder if the band's aware of just how important, how meaningful, that song is to many who hear it?
  13. That one's cute! I like it :D!
  14. Oh, my god, I didn't even notice your avatar !
  15. LOL, I know! *Goes to find a dictionary to look for a better word for poor Will*
  16. Yay for music swaps, SuperFitz. I hope the listening experience works out on both ends! Hell, yes. Quoted for truth . Random thought: I'm reading that "Roadie" book now. I'm liking it :).
  17. Hey, Karen, welcome to the board and to the Chris thread! Always good to have another person joining in on the fangirling :D. Who cares :p. He can ramble on as long as he wants, that was a cute bit at the beginning. Chris, you have my permanent permission to remove your jacket any time you wish. I'm curious as to who likes and doesn't like that song now, though! I'm on the side of whoever likes it. Is it just me or did he come out of some sort of weird trance at the end of that song? You know what I liked the most about that video? Watching him play piano with one hand while not even looking down. And I loved the little noodling around he did at the end of the song, too-whatever it was he was playing, it sounded beautiful. Loved all the versions of "Politik" that were in here-the one with the...um...noises...uh. That was good. Mmhm . And the one where Chris screwed up the words-awwww :laugh3: (and in regards to that one, can I just say: OMG ARMS! Thank you.). I'm going to have to look for the rest of that show. "Politik" is such a great song. I really like the way Chris stretches out the word "soul" each time he sings it in that song, especially the second time. Hehe. Ah, well. I'm sure he's got his list of famous women he'd gladly admire at length, so it all balances out. Sounds like a nice day! It was sunny here today, too, but it's very windy and getting cold. We're supposed to get snow this week at some point. That's about as perfect as it gets right there. Loved the rest of your pictures, but wow, that one in particular... Hi, Chris! Your little video you made cracked me up, by the way. But I can't really say I disagree with the sentiment :D. GUH. That's just hot. (Probably won't see this until after you get back, but have a good, safe trip!) Sooooo, yeah, my thoughs on this one are totally innocent. Nothing more. Nope. Also, if we're going to talk about videos... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yU6ffPS5wVY]Chris & Jonny Interview Part 1 - YouTube[/ame] From the "Random" thread-if there aren't screencaps/gifs from this one, there should be, 'cause seriously, he's smoking hot in this one.
  18. Oh, good, I'm not the only one whose download took a long time. It took almost all night for me. But I haven't played it at all yet to see if it works, I'm going to do that soon here tonight. Hopefully all will go well and then I shall watch it and come back for the discussion :D. I've been looking forward to watching this all day (worked today. You get really impatient at work when you know you've got new Coldplay stuff to watch waiting for you at home ). Thanks for the upload regardless of what happens, Row :).
  19. May have to check out that other thread. It's contagious, this perversion. Really. I think this... ...is an appropriate image. I'll refrain from my thoughts about the one with Chris at the piano stool. :escaping:
  20. As I said earlier, October's when my birthday is, so I can't think of any better present than a new Muse album :D. Gives me something specific to look forward to.
  21. I honestly don't pay any attention to stuff like production and sequencing and other technical aspects and such most of the time when I listen to music. Any music I listen to, I just go based off of things like how the songs make me feel (happy/sad/feel like dancing or singing/etc.), if I can relate to them, if I like the story they're telling, stuff like that. And on that level, Mylo Xyloto works just fine for me.
  22. He does deserve more attention. I'd like to see/hear more of him/about him.
  23. It's how he rolls . "I'll just stand here and distract everyone with my sexiness-soon nobody'll notice Chris isn't here." I like how Chris is unfailingly polite as he's all, "Excuse me a second" before going over to watch the performance. (If I were Adele I'd find the fact he was willing to take time out to watch the performance quite an honor)
  24. I too love "Up In Flames". I love how the heartbreak of the lyrics is set against a really seductive musical backing. It doesn't interrupt the flow for me at all-given that "Princess Of China" is about a relationship that's ending, I think thematically "Up In Flames" fits well right next to it. Shows different sides/feelings towards the same situation.
  25. Glad you like that version :). The piano in it...I am always a sucker for a song with some fantastic piano work. Not a bad song, that George Michael one. I do tend to like that sort of sound from time to time-some artists can just pull it off and make it sound really good/sexy, as it should be.
