Hooray for working that out! Anja, that's a neat name. Excellent choice for a picture. Yeah. That'd definitely be enough to warm one up.

Random Coldplay thoughts...
:laugh3: That'd be awesome. I bet they'd be up for that. That would be a good idea for a video for "Major Minus" if that gets released as a single. It's got the dark vibe for a mafia story-talking about people watching you and stuff. Love that Jonathon Ross interview. So hilarious. Guy should totally be referred to as "Foreplay" from now on .

Coldplay - Cake Club Video Of The Week
That story about his dad was great. I love how utterly modest and self-deprecating they are. And polite, too! I saw them being all well-mannered and pleasant in the video, and I just kept thinking, "How have they managed to make some people hate them so much? It's one thing to not care for the music, but they're so freaking nice and inoffensive, so why so much strong vitriol from some out there?" Another thing I kept thinking throughout the video: Guy's voice is like butter and I want to hear more of it. The things that really made me gush and get all "Eeeeeei!", though-what the hell, I'll share 'em now since we're starting to talk about specific stuff: First off, BONO! I was really pleasantly surprised to see him being interviewed in here, talking about the guys. It always makes me happy when I hear about one band I love praising another band I love. What can I say, I want all my favorite people to get along :D. It was also cool to see Dave Grohl chat them up, and Neil freaking Diamond, of all people, as well, at the Grammys. Second, ohhhhhhh, that whole bit with "Back For Good"! I love that song! That's another thing I like, finding out I share the same musical tastes with my favorite artists (or actors)-every time I hear someone I like discussing their favorite albums or artists or whatever it always makes me want to go hang out with them and listen to music. Hearing them join in on that song was just heavenly. I went and found some clips afterward from the War Child show where that happened, looks like a whole host of awesome people gathered together at that. What I wouldn't give to have been there. Couple more comments about the thing to start off the discussion. Will talk more about it tomorrow.

Things like HTML and picture posting and whatnot can be a bit complicated sometimes, especially depending on the site you're at. It can be even harder to explain, too. You'll figure it out, though-and any other questions, feel free to ask :). I meant to comment on that photo-I was wondering what was up with the bandage. He hurt his wrist? Aw :(. Saw those YouTube links from the last few pages-loved the "live leak" one with the performance of "'Til Kingdom Come" (which sounded gorgeous, by the way-Chris' voice in it was just...ooooh). His response to that girl is awesome. Totally untrue, but awesome . I'd die if he said something like that to me (heck, I'd be shocked if he talked to me, period). And the one about the unusual translation of "Yellow"-that laugh? SUPER CUTE. Finally, the one with Chris talking in French? That needs to happen more often . Edited to add: by the way, someone here PMd me a while back about getting me an avatar-I can't recall who that was now, though, 'cause I think I accidentally deleted that message. But whomever it was, let me know, 'cause I've been meaning to say I have one in mind now.

You know you're addicted to Coldplay when...
Uhhhhhhhhh. No. I'm usually pretty cool about people's musical tastes-I may not like something, but if someone else likes it, hey, more power to them. Go forth and enjoy whatever music you want. But that statement is just wrong. I'd have a similar reaction. *Despises Nickelback. In case you couldn't tell :p* *Bursts out laughing* Oh, my god, your mom is awesome :D. I can't ever imagine my mom saying that. She knows about my crush on Chris, and the more I tell her about him, the more she seems to think he's pretty cool and all. And she and I have been in agreement in the past about certain men, actually. But she'd probably be a bit surprised at some of the comments I make here. Either that or she'd just shrug it off and go, "Okay, then." More videos to watch. It's going to be a busy Coldplay viewing night for me. Can't think of a better way to pass the late night hours, though :D.

Wow, you girls have been busy! *Is glad she isn't drinking anything at the moment* Hello to Mcllwain, nice to meet you! Welcome to the craziness! *Scratches head* You say this like it's a bad thing. Mmmmmmmmmmmm. Happy, happy images. More happy images. Oh, Chris, for the love of god... Yeah. I'm going to have to echo that "bed" comment. Sad, but true. That works! I like your idea better. I feel like we can tie that "disease" and Chris as a doctor together in some way. *Ponders* Oh, cool, you are in for a treat, then. I can't wait to hear your thoughts when you do get a chance to see the full thing. Hehe. Good-natured vandalism, woohoo! You should be bored more often. Damn. ZZ Top wasn't kidding with that "Sharp-Dressed Man" song. Hello, Mr. Snazzy Chris! As always, girls, the picspams have been top notch and full of sexiness. So now I'm off to watch all these videos I heard everyone gushing over and quoting intriguing bits from.

:laugh3: I like the idea taameen came up with for that song, too. It's a good line :). TecHniCoLoR_MX, hopefully we can hear the song when you finish it? Any excuse, huh ? I'd like to hear your song, too. Cool. Thanks, I'll definitely be watching this at some point tonight. These guys are such goofballs. You gotta love 'em.

Coldplay - Cake Club Video Of The Week
He IS hot in it. Very much so. Just saw your screencaps, oh, a good start indeed. Can you get some from the end of the program, where he's walking around? 'Cause I was watching that and kind of drooling profusely and wanting to take a walk with him. That second screencap-can I say right now that I'm super, SUPER jealous of the girl he was talking to at that part of the show? He might have been, but actually, I've heard many other musicians say the same thing-it's very common for a lot of artists to not be able to read music. They often learn just playing by ear. I'll probably watch this again tonight and then share thoughts tomorrow as well. But you have a couple of my thoughts, shallow though they may be, at the beginning of my post to start off with :D.

U2
I say their worst is "Some Days Are Better Than Others". I like "Mofo". And "I'll Go Crazy..." I would enjoy that setlist. I could think of a few other songs I'd love to hear, but hell, if and when I ever FINALLY do get to see U2 live, I'll be so happy I'm there that they could play "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and I won't care :p.

The Community Thread
I don't care if it's not confirmed yet, I'm just happy to hear a return time frame of some kind. FINALLY! March. If this is true, I only have to wait a little less than a month. I can live with this.

I'm torn between two spots myself-the ARMS (gah) and that area just above the V in his shirt. So my eyes are doing some sort of darting thing right now.

Coldplay @ BRIT Awards 2012 (Tues 21st Feb, O2 Arena, London) // Charlie Brown performance, MX album
My mom says she hears "Paradise" a lot on the radio where she works. That and "Viva La Vida". She does like those songs, though. "Viva La Vida" brings up another weird thing about airplay-not only does radio tend to play the hell out of new songs, but sometimes they still play older songs so often one could mistake those songs for being new! Yeah, I'm very excited to see what the band will perform at the Brits. And I'm super happy Fuse has decided to air the show for us here in the States. Like you, I can watch it on my TV in my time zone, too :D! For all my constant complaing about music channels here rarely ever showing anything worthwhile (or even music-related, period), this is a good start towards making up for that.

If this is supposed to be some sort of actual doctor type setting, I think the guys should totally dress in doctor getups. To, you know, make sure it's all legit. If it's more of a counseling center, two words: Therapy couches.

Me, too, just to make sure I've got a proper list of all the bits I liked (which may come close to describing the whole thing, admittedly). But yes, I certainly won't complain at all about such a task :). And definitely echoing the thanks once again for putting this up for everyone to see. So very appreciated.

I was wondering about that, too .

Coldplay @ BRIT Awards 2012 (Tues 21st Feb, O2 Arena, London) // Charlie Brown performance, MX album
Fully agreed on how she looks. I thought she looked lovely at the Grammys (I wanted her dress), and I'm glad she's not giving in to all the stupid pressure to look a certain way, to slim down. I'm really excited to see where her career goes from here. All I know is, I'm 27 and I look at people like Adele, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Katy Perry, etc., who also are in their 20s, and whatever one's feelings on each of those girls' music, they sure all make me feel really lazy and unmotivated :p. As for radio singles, yeah, unfortunately radio has a habit of running songs into the ground. But if the artists and songs are good enough, I'm willing to stick it out. And thankfully, usually after a break of not hearing them for a while I'm reminded of why I loved the songs in the first place, and sometimes enjoy them even more after their airplay time has passed.

Coldplay - Cake Club Video Of The Week
Cake club! Woo! I just watched this. It's my first time ever seeing it (and I'm going to download it, too, thanks for the link). And SQUEEEEEEE, oh, my god, the comments I've got about it! *Covers mouth as firmly as she can to hold all her gushing thoughts in until it's deemed okay to discuss it all* :D I'll simply state this for the time being: I. Freaking. LOVE. These. Guys. And I want to hug each and every one of them. That is all. Row, this thread idea is brilliant.

Coldplay nominated for 3 Grammy Awards // Paradise to feature on 2012 Grammy Nominees Album (pg.5)
Agreed. I don't care what an artist uses when creating their music. As long as I know the artist themselves is involved in some way, shape, or form, I'm happy. I don't think people should automatically be dismissed simply because some of the sounds in their music don't come from an actual instrument, or they used technology to do something funky with a sound from an actual instrument. Heck, even using actual instruments can upset people. Bob Dylan got hell when he went electric.

Random Coldplay thoughts...
myloxyloto, I noticed that today, too, 'cause I heard "Paradise" on the car radio on the way in to work, and yeah, it's chopped up a bit more. Still happy to hear it, though. I turned the volume up and everything :D. And Muse has been there, and U2... Agh. Not. Fair. Oh, lord, yes. That "Daylight" video. Movements are fascinating, definitely, but let's talk about those freaking noises Chris is making. Yeowza. *Makes car tire "screeeeech" sound* I'm going to need more information on this interview .

Count me in for the group video watching thing, too. I'll be off to look at the new thread for it-fantastic idea, Row. Exactly! Why drown out that loveliness? :D "Pervs of the world unite!" Or something. I don't know. I suck at slogans :p. It'll probably get more attention over time-right now it's a selective thing, amongst female (and occasional male) Coldplay fans only. But soon...;). Aw, that's okay. Cursed obligations! But when you have a moment free, WATCH IT. It is all sorts of wonderful (presuming you haven't seen it before). Must be a part of that Coldplay-related epidemic I referred to above . Yes! I love the way Chris kept talking about and describing his bandmates-his words to Jonny in particular just made me go, "Awwwwwww...". He just seemed so giddy and bouncy and happy through that whole show. And their choice to cover "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" is so appropriate, because I could not get their version of that song out of MY head! All through work today, it kept popping in. But that's perfectly all right, 'cause it's fantastic and adorable (and kinda sexy, too, I gotta say) and it made me smile and made the evening go by. When he started to roll up his pant legs I was like, "Ooh, what's going on here?" That was cute. My god, he does like to write on things, doesn't he? I get the feeling that if you let him loose with various writing utensils he'd go all over town writing random stuff everywhere he could find. An excellent way to brighten up one's day, definitely :). I thought the exact same thing. I liked hearing those older songs, too-throughout the show I kept thinking, "For all their talk about how they don't look too kindly upon the X&Y era nowadays, they sure seemed to enjoy performing those songs at that point and time, at least." Maybe it's all the stress that I've heard was involved with the making of that album that's soured them a bit. Who knows? But it would be cool to see some of those songs pop up again. One of my favorite moments was at the end of "Fix You". There I was, listening and getting all emotional and teary, and then Chris throws in that goofy, rambly little sentence at the end of the song, and it cheered me right up. So cute.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Ooooh. That was VERY nice to hear. Yes. Really strange to hear the song like that. Kinda neat, though.

Coldplay @ BRIT Awards 2012 (Tues 21st Feb, O2 Arena, London) // Charlie Brown performance, MX album
*Reads about broadcast on Fuse* HOORAY! *Makes note of times/dates* It wouldn't surprise me at all if Coldplay wins an award. I hope they do. And I'm dying to hear what they'll sing with Noel.

Post pictures of the gorgeous Chris
Aw, that's a cute picture :D. Just watched that 2005 Glastonbury show. Made me fall in love with the guys all over again-what a performance. And Chris is just too freaking adorable for words. There's a few moments in that thing that would certainly be screencap/gif-worthy. It absolutely cracked me the hell up when Chris gave a shoutout to the old TV show "My Two Dads" before "'Til Kingdom Come". I actually DO remember that show, I used to watch it when I was little! I didn't realize people in Britain were aware of it. What a completely and totally random reference.
