  4. they're not bad at all. Mexican Fenders are excellent guitars, but they're just not as good as the American ones. the build quality and electronics are better with US Fenders. if you can afford an American Fender, you should go for that instead i reckon.
  5. 9 is "Lithium" by Nirvana I think

"Strobe lights and blown speakers, fireworks and hurricanes" 9. "You know that feeling you get when you feel you're older than time?" 10. "Why don't you all fade away and don't try and dig what we all say"
  7. Not really a fan, but I quite like them. Everybody Hurts and Drive are my favourite songs. Automatic For The People is one of the finest LPs ever made.

  9. 'Lover, You Should've Come Over' I think I heard a shocking cover of it in the pub last week, and it sounded like Jamie Cullum, so that's what I'm guessing.
  10. i've been really meaning to get into Pink Floyd over last couple of years, but i've not really quite managed it. i've heard the "Wish You Were Here" album, and I loved it. Of the others I've heard 'Comfortably Numb' and 'Money' are some of my all time favourite songs. There are more tracks i've heard as well (e.g. Another Brick In The Wall, Interstellar Overdrive). But I've never really taken the time to actually sit down and get into them properly, when I really should.
  11. one of my favourite artists of all time if anyone reading this hasn't heard any Jeff Buckley, I urge you to at least download some of his songs from 'Grace'. he was a musical genius in every possible sense, and by far the greatest singer I've ever heard. and yes, that is Jeff Buckley in my avatar
  12. just go over there and tell him to shut the fuck up!
  13. Radiohead - Myxomatosis (Judge, Jury & Executioner) The mongrel cat came home Holding half a head Proceeded to show it off To all his new found friends He said "I've been where I like I slept with who I like She ate me up for breakfast She screwed me in a vice" "And now I don't know why I feel so tongue-tied" I sat in the cupboard and wrote it down real neat They were cheering and waving Cheering and waving Twitching and salivating like with myxomatosis But it got edited, fucked up Strangled beaten up Used as a photo in Time Magazine Buried in a burning black hole in Devon "I don't know why I feel so tongue-tied Don't know why I feel so skinned alive" My thoughts are misguided and a little naïve I twitch and I salivate like with myxomatosis You should put me in a home or you should put me down I've got myxomatosis, I've got myxomatosis "Now, no one likes a smartarse but we all like stars" That wasn't my intention I did it for a reason It must have got mixed up, strangled, beaten up I've got myxomatosis, I've got myxomatosis I don't know why I feel so tongue-tied
  14. people strive to get good grades because they're simply more likely to get a good job. if you go into an interview with tons of A's on your CV, it's going to look amazing. if you go into an interview and just say "I didn't get good grades but I am smart, honest!", they'll simply laugh in your face and show you the door. as inaccurate as it may be in some cases, it is the best way of measuring how suitable a person is for a job.
  15. Oasis - My Big Mouth Proper lyrics: "And 'round this town you've ceased to be That's what you got for sleeping with the enemy Where angels fly you won't play..." What I hear: "And all this time it seems to me That's what you get for sleeping with the enemy The rain tells why you won't play..."
  16. it depends entirely on the music, the bassist and EQ settings. plectrums are better for when you want a more powerful sound, as they give more attack.
  17. If you can call it "experimental", I'd say Kid A by Radiohead and I would agree that Revolution 9 is the weirdest song I've ever heard
  18. same here actually, I'd say I need to put on more weight, which is why i think having such a high metabolism is a pain in the arse.
  19. well yes, but my acting "talents" are best left collecting dust and cobwebs at the back of a deep dark cupboard somewhere. :/ :stunned:
  20. ^ It's Jeff Buckley That's an awesome movie !! it is a brilliant movie. it's most certainly the weirdest I've ever seen.
