Good job! Try not to think about the cost and just focus on how much fun you'll have! Btw, I think I told you before that you can get tickets easier through TM from a computer rather than a smart phone if you can link to the map. I tried that today at 1pm from my computer, but they didn't have a map link so I had to let the TM system pick for me. After searching a few different times to get a section I liked, it stopped searching for me, like it blocked my access. I ended up switching to my phone so I could try a different device, and that worked better. If you had the same problem, I'm sorry for steering you in the wrong direction. Live and learn.... Your seats probably won't be any further from the stage than my 200 level seats were all the way in the back last time. [emoji6]

North American Leg 2017
I didn't check fees on all the different price ranges this time, but I paid about $180 incl fees per seat on the side, about 2/3 the way back, in the 200 level for Chicago. Those same seats would have been about $120 with fees last time.

North American Leg 2017
Congrats! You'll have so much fun on the floor. I ended up getting side seats in the 200 level risers. Different location from where I was in July so I'm psyched about another new viewing experience. Also my friend didn't want to pay more than $100 so floor seats were out of the question. I'll be paying part of her ticket so she stays at $100, but I don't mind that. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this time! [emoji6]

I'm going again in 2017!!!!!! [emoji2] [emoji95] [emoji93] [emoji322] One of my friends replied before the presale started that she'll go if tix stay around $100. Of course, with the prices higher this year, I didn't want nosebleed seats, so I sprang for level 200 seats on the side about half way back, and I'll cover the extra for her. I'm the obsessed one between the two of us, and just glad to have someone to go with. Last time I saw them on both Saturday & Sunday with my two kids (one each night) so that was a lot more ticket price covering then. Hip hip! [emoji4]

I think they were about $85-90 pre-fees, $100 with fees. I did read on another thread this afternoon that 2017 tickets are more expensive, but I couldn't figure out how they know that. Maybe comparing the European legs that already went on sale? Hope they're not too far off from 2016 prices.

I'm still not sure. Last time I spent over $600 between both shows because my two kids came with and definitely didn't pay their own way. My husband wasn't thrilled with that. I texted a few friends to see if they'd like to go. If one of them says yes by tomorrow morning, I think I'll get tickets and ask my husband for forgiveness later. [emoji39]

I can't remember the section numbers, but Saturday was straight back from the stage in the 200 level seating. Sunday was about 15 rows back from the stage in front of where Guy usually stands.

Buy them as early as you can. :-) Also, if you're on a computer rather than a smart phone, I seem to remember last time, I was able to go into this link to buy tickets from the map rather than letting the TM system search for you and get stuck in a really long wait. Last time, I didn't log in to buy tickets for the Saturday show until a few days after the presale opened, and there weren't any good floor seats left, so we got ones in the back. Then when Sunday became available, I got on about five hours into the presale and got good floor seats.

I got mine thru Ticketmaster and those prices did not include fees. My $174 floor seats were about $200 after fees. Be prepared to pay a lot for parking too if you want to park close by. I paid about $50 for a reserved space in one of the soldier field lots. You can pay a lot less if you don't mind being further away or in some shady areas of town. I brought my 8yo girl to that show so I laid down the big bucks for good parking for her sake. Hopefully I'll go again next summer! Good luck to you!

When Yellow was Released...
All you guys who said you feel old, this'll help you....I was about 27 then, four years out of college and two years married. I was really into Bush then and harder rock music so I never really heard CP on the radio or knew much about them. Didn't catch the CP bug until about 4 years ago when my usual rock station played Viva and I never looked back. Yellow only sounded a little familiar the first time I paid attention to it then.

What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear that coldplay song?
Beautiful piano melody, like classical music. I could listen to it on repeat for ages. Paradise

What is your age?
I'm glad to hear your daughter still likes them. That gives me hope that my daughter will still like them when she's older too. I'm afraid she'll hit the rebellious teen years and decide it's not cool to like her mom's music anymore. I'm praying that doesn't happen. Or at least that she won't go so far in the other direction that she starts listening to gangster rap or something equally awful. (No offense to any CP'ers out there who might like gangster rap...) [emoji33]

Coldplay misunderstood lyrics
In Yellow, I used to think the line, "your skin and bones" was "your skin unfolds". I thought that sounded kind of gross, like skin peeling away or going inside out, but then again talking about someone's skin and bones isn't that much better. Lol I've also heard a lot of people say the line in Ink that goes "the pain's alright" as "the paint's alright".

What is your age?
I posted my age and info earlier, but now I have to add this. When I started really liking CP, my daughter was about 4 and learning colors. Everytime she heard Yellow (usually in my car), she'd shout "yellow!!!" each time the word was sang in that song. She was so excited to hear a color she knew. :-) Her first non-kid song she ever sang along to was The Scientist, singing the line, "nobody said it was easy" in her little toddler voice. She's now my 8yo budding CP fan girl. Lol

What is your age?
Sorry, no offense! I was trying to imagine what years you meant for "while growing up" and must have overestimated. I'll change my guess to 50. [emoji6]

Colour your clothes like Coldplay
I needed to print mine in certain sizes to fit on different size t-shirts for rhinestone templates, so I did mine on the computer in MS Word with intersecting circles. I could control the overall size of the design by taking a screen shot of it and shrinking or enlarging it. You can watch a lot of great demonstrations on drawing the design on YouTube as well, depending on how you want to create it. There's a neat trick for using the inner and outer circles of a CD to help with the measurements.

Have you ever...?
Maybe in the past, but not now. I'm pretty happy. Have you ever ruined someone's secret on accident? (And what was it? No names of course or you'll ruin it again!) [emoji1]

Where / How did you meet your partner?
My husband and I met in high school senior year when I started dating one of his friends (don't hate me - there was no overlap, I swear!). Later my boyfriend (the eventual ex) and I went to two separate colleges really far apart, and we tried to maintain a long distance relationship, but it didn't last. He spent more time getting drunk than going to class, and I lost all respect for him. We broke up over the phone, and that was that. At the end of that semester, I ended up moving back home to go to our local community college, and my future husband (Ken) was already going there. We struck up a really good friendship, got massive crushes on each other that we tried to resist because of my ex being his friend, but eventually we stopped fighting it and fell in love! Ken and his friend (my ex) had a good talk about it, and my ex gave his blessing, admitting that he & I hadn't been right for each other, and Ken was much more my speed, which was true. We dated through the rest of college, transferring to the same 4-year university where we got our degrees. He proposed in our favorite vacation place the fall after graduation, and we've been married for 18 years, together a total of almost 25 years. [emoji4]

What is your age?
I turned 43 a few weeks ago, and I've been listening to them just in the past 4 or 5 years. I heard Viva la Vida on my usual rock station while driving home from work and googled "Who sings 'that was when I ruled the world?'" as soon as I got home. Lol. Been obsessed ever since, and this year I really got my kids into them, especially my 8yo daughter.
