I play the piano for 11 years now and the only thing that I don't like about it is the lack of portability. So I wanted to try learn to play the guitar by myself. I ended up having my cousins old acoustic guitar, which by first sight was the ideal solution for me as I don't want to buy an expensive guitar without knowing the feasibility of my goal of learning without someone teaching me. BUT UNFORTUNATELY, the instrument has a problem that almost make it unplayable. The fretboard is crooked and the strings are way higher from it than they should. Please help me, can I fix it and if I can how?

So I play guitar(badly) and sing(even worse) and write songs(that are somewhat decent) and would love some feedback from you guys! Here are two new ones I've written. Both are still early in the writing process so I need to work on them. On Clockwork, I tried to hit notes I can't hit so there will be cringe worthy moments. Hoping to use this thread for future songs so I don't end up wasting space! :P

I know that Chris found this piano somewhere and it was out of tune. But does anyone have pictures from it or know whether the piano still exists?

This is a question I have always wondered. I am curious to know because I also cannot read music and have successfully written songs, but am wondering if knowing how to read music and names of chords would be helpful to write and/;or translate a song from the piano to the guitar. Hello All This is my first post here although I used to visit this site often. My name is Jonathan (23yo) from Tel-aviv israel. I'M NOT A PRO but have some very light experience with music production. I play all the basic instruments.
