The Instrument Room

I've been really fascinated by the way Coldplay customizes their instruments; Johnny and Guy both have writing and album covers on their guitars and Chris with his piano's painted to have lyrics on them. So I'm wondering should I customize my keyboard?

i posted this over in the respective MM thread, but it fits in here, too: i'd like to share a recording with you... an acoustic version (based on "my" lyrics though), not even sure if i got all chords right but it sounded good to me. i hurriedly did it in twice the time the record plays (2 trys :D ). i would want to hear constructive criticism, it's ok though if you just tell me your point of view... i believe that i cannot sing, my voice is awful, but there are people that say i can... so hear for yourselves... the link: http://www.mediafire.com/?8314jzh8ec1s142

Hey there, I am playing Keyboard for several years now and at the moment I am trying to write my own song in the style of Coldplay. I mean their new style shown in Germany. I know the instruments sound crappy because it´s all selfplayed with Keyboard, but what do you think of this idea? It´s just the beginning. Would love some feedback here. Hi everyone, I'm working on a cover of The Scientist at the minute. :P It'll be the first song I learn fully after playing guitar on and off after a few years.
