Women gear up for gaming invasion By Jane Wakefield BBC News website technology reporter Women are about to invade the male dominated gaming world, a games conference in Scotland is to be told. Games consultant Ernest Adams will say the stage is set for an explosion of women gamers, especially in the area of massively-multi-player online gaming. There needs to be a sea-change in the industry, with more female developers and more games for women, he believes. Mr Adams is to address the 2005 Women in Games Conference being held in August in Dundee, Scotland. Puzzling games The games that are likely to appeal to women are not the traditional "hac…

I know this isn't exciting but I saw ex-Eastenders star Raji James (Ash Ferreira) and he was so stuck up. Driving in, in his silver Mercedes and strutting down the corridor... he was full of himself. I'm quite glad he got axed from Eastenders! (Not that I watch it  )

I’ve only seen a few of his movies so far (Rushmore, Wedding Crasher, Zoolander), but I’m really turning into a fan of this guy. They interviewed him in playboy this month and I think his best line was when he compared picking up women at weddings to fishing with dynamite (unfortunately for my single, female friends he wasn’t a guest at our wedding!) From a female’s point of view, he’s a pretty smart guy with lots of great points for the single men out there. Anyone else like him, or catch this interview? Katy

Since I couldn't find an existing thread, thought I'd start one... Funny how there are more famous male than female vegetarians here... Vote 2005's Sexiest Vegetarian p.s. Didn't know Chris Martin's one as well.

I was wondering who here has ever read or heard of the Talmud of Jmmanuel. It is supposedly the source for the Gospel of Matthew, and according to an analysis of its verses vs. the ones found in the King James version, it clears up a lot of the contradictions and dillemas that New Testament scholars find throughout the gospel. I bring this up only because people (i.e. mostly conservatives or Republicans) consistently base a lot of their beliefs and values on the Bible. This document clears up a lot of the misconceptions and actually reverses a lot of their arguments about life, death, and our purpose for being. I feel if we as a civilization could get together a…

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/4606197.stm I know this all overly serious and all, but seeing as coldplay are such strong figures in such campaigns as make trade fair i think it's relevant that it's brought up. So with the G8 (and live8 :D ) summit coming up, we have a chance to take an active step in diminishing african debt and actually improve the lives of millions. I find it so hard to even comprehend that anyone, particularly a world leader would oppose these plans. Yet it looks as if it's happening. What i find most absured is the reasoning: Now, we have the most powerful country in the world effectivley refusing to help the poorest parts of…
