When will they stop using this name. There's a postivie sound to it but its pure and simple GBH. Stop using trendy sounding soundbites. Quite sure this poor kid is not happy. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/manchester/4679713.stm

Im in a complaining mood, after seeing one and a half crappy movies. Once Upon a Time in Mexico- This could be just another bad movie I'd forget about, but it has JOHNNY DEPP in it. My favourite actor. The only actor of which I have never seen him involved in a bad movie. I've seen bad Al Pacino movies, numerous bad Robert De Niro films, and those 10 Marlon Brando movies that flopped in the 70's, they flopped for a reason, and those are really the greatest actors I've known of. Johnny Depp isnt far off those guys, and his film choices and execution of character's have been perfection.. UNTIL this piece of crap. Its the sequel to the 90's movie Desperado, with An…

Click here you knob I was expecting it to be some stupid ass list like focusing on Paris Hilton and Tom Cruise, but that was really, really true. There was less clever ones like Oprah Winfry, but also some great ones. James Lipton, Steven Tyler, Paul McCartney, SEAN PENN, Michael Moore, I was also glad to see Starr Jones on there. The Blockbuster guy was funny as hell too. But the best decision was Number 1, without a doubt. Jay Leno has never been even decent at stand up, in fact, the only thing about his routine is when he acknowledges how bad the jokes are, he usually says "Woww its really, flying tonight..." in his sarcastic manner. When he says that every si…

Well.... Last week it was Joey Barton, a footballer with Man City, his name sprayed all over the newspapers for violent conduct in the far east, resulting in him almost being sacked. Tonight, we have Michael Barton, who has fled the country as he is a 'suspect' for the brutal murder of Anthony Walker. My my what a week for them... My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Anthony, this tragedy has rocked the north-west and i'm sure a very lot of people feel deeply for you.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4719169.stm They seem to want to emphasize that it's as much an ideological fight as a military fight. My thoughts: 1. I want to give them some credit for at least acknowledging that guns and airstrikes won't win this "war" by themselves, but for Christ's sake, wasn't that obvious to pretty much EVERYBODY about four years ago? 2. Even though I'm spending time talking about it, I'm not entirely convinced that issues of terminology are really that important, and I think this whole issue might be sort of a red herring. What do you think?

A shockingly beautiful, moving, touching story. It's set in the 1930's when the so-called half-castes (half aboriginal-half white children) were separated from their families and were transported to be trained for domestic servants. The big plan was to bread them out. They thought that within 3 generations all the signs of their 'Aboriginality' would disappear. The film is about three girls being taken away, their escape and their 1500 miles long journey home. ON FOOT! It's really sad and moving. For me, as a European, this worls was hidden and was never taught about this in school. I see it as a Down Under semi-Holocaust... and it was the case until only 30 years ago…
