I was trying to come up with a thread that related to my current situation, and I finally found one. My grandpa's in town visiting, and he bought tons of stuff, including a TV for my room. The other day I was sitting out side, because we were finally have some good weather, and I was about to put on my head phones to listen to some X&Y when my CD player fell on the ground and somehow my CD jumped out and the CD player closed. Now I thought that weird, so I just picked it up and put the CD back in and turned on the power. I started listening to The Hardest Part, because I love the song, and I noticed that the sound was different. I looked at my head phone's wire and it was broke apart alittle. I'm not sure if I worded that right, but I want to know about all thos stereotypes other countries create about other countries, and know if they are true or not. eg. Do Swedish people climb mountains and yodel for fun? Are all English people obsessed with the word bollocks? Are all Irish people drunken leprechauns? Does every mexican person eat tacos and where ponchos? Do New Zealanders really......no I won't go there. Since most people are form the "developed world" here, I wondered how many of you took or plan to take a Gap Year or year off. I don't mean "being forced to". P.S: I mention the developed world, bcause it's very uncommon where I live... people work to live, not to enjoy themselves

Over here it means sharing a house with other people,be they friends or strangers,I've had a bad run,I lost count of the number of times that i have had to move over the last few years,either I had to leave because of various reasons,or I could not find another flatmate,cos someone left,just recently moved into a new flat,fingers crossed. So I am wondering if any of you have had the same experience,or how things went etc,have you got any horror stories,I mean the flatmate from hell type thing!!! :lol:
