When people sometimes ask this question in real life I'm pretty shocked, I had assumed swimming is just one of those things you know how to do, like walking. I'm guessing I had to learn when I was younger, but really I cant imagine learning to swim. So can you? Dont be embarassed sunshine. :nice:

I'm almost sure there is a thread like this one...and i even think i created it! But let's have this question again: What is worse: -being poor and loved? or -living in good standards and not being loved? I would prefer the first one.... a guy of my class........well....I have been to a birthday party on saturday....it ended a bit sad because this guy got to know that his mum tried to commit suicide some days before by taking pills.....he was outside and crying and many people stood in a circle next to him and tried to help him.... I was inside so I wasn't really part of all this... after the party I brought him and some friends home with my c…

This is a question usually referred to with alcahol or drugs, but it can apply to anything, for example gaining lots of weight. Has anyone had any addictions they had to fight to overcome? Coffee? Cocaine? Chocolate? It hurts when other people judge you, sometimes even if its your best of friends, it just hurts. I know I have a problem with drugs, the thing is, I dont really care. Still, when I was first doing it, it was hard when my friend, even though I asked, said that Ive developed a really bad problem. It is hard to admit to yourself something that in your heart, you know (or think) it isnt true, but I guess thats when you have to trust someone.

Isnt this what its all about? I want all of you to write for me, about the things that truely make you happy, or how you can be happy for longer then 10mins. I think its all about moderation. I love playing playstation sometimes, but if I sat around playing it all day, I'd go insanely depressed. I also like the feeling of getting work done, or going to the gym, but if I did it all the time, yeah, depression. I'm beginning to discover the importance of discovering happiness in the things I do, and I just am not a happy person unless I'm working hard at things. I dont enjoy doing a lot of things I usually would, if I'm spoiling myself a lot I get sad, because nothi…

  7. It is just me... just say you come across someone you like.... and the more you think about them the more you like them. However one thing you are shy, one of the others is a situation whereas you can't really say anything.... say the situation is work related... you can't put yourself forward in such a situation. Also when it comes to their personal life you cant bring yourself to ask such questions as do you have a partner ?, would you like to come out for a drink ?? However in a round about kind of way due to iconic gestures, and possible charm you seem to get recive all those signs that you would like to have, for example a constant smile, or a wink when no one …

Could you imagine this: Having an XXL family with 10 children or more...having everything well organised and not being able to do things spontaneously? No time for hobbies? No time for being alone or to have quiet hours? Maybe only once a year? I couldn't.....I definitely couldn't! Surely i want to have children who I would love more than everything else. But i think there must be time for yourself, especially for me,I am a person who needs that! I watched this documentation about XXL families with my mum this evening, and i realised that I couldn't live like that!

Do you have brothers or sisters? What is your relation to them? I have a 10 year old sister and a 22 year old sister.... somehow this is cool.... one is a child and the other one is adult and I'm in between... I always looked much after my little sister.....I have such a good relation to her.... sometimes I still play games with her which are mre childish and for 10 year old girls....but that doesn't matter then...it's always fun and she brings me back to my childhood.... actually I have a good relation to my other sister aswell.....although i think she is really jealous because of me!

starts to really get on your tits with everything they do. I'm talking old relationships here, people. If they happen to stay in contact and you just realise how full of shit they are. Ever experienced this? Thinking about the girl I was going out with at the start of this year, I used to love her quirks. Now I find her so incredibly pretentious I feel bad for her, she's also terribly stupid, naive and practically insane.

  12. With the possible exception of Santa Claus himself, there is not a busier mammal on the face of the earth than the Easter Bunny. Once a year, the Easter Bunny hops into the home of hundreds of millions of boys and girls all over the globe, dropping off chocolates, candy and eggs as part of the celebration of Easter. America Online spent a few minutes with the Easter Bunny as he was preparing for this year's task, for a tell-all, no-holds-barred interview. If you thought you knew the Easter Bunny, you just may be surprised. America Online: Thanks for talking to us. Easter Bunny: No problem. Do you mind if I eat while we talk? (takes out a packet of small green pell…

Here's the deal: I have 2 groups of friends at school and they're both really different from each other. One is my day group, I sit with them every day and talk about random stuff and yeah...sometimes I go to them for advice concerning serious issues...that's great. But I've only been in the gang for a year and I still don't feel comfortable enough speaking my truth. I tend to be really extreme with my thoughts and I think maybe if I showed them my true feelings they'd be impressed...and not in a good way. The other group is older, I've been hanging out with them since like the first year, they're all boys and I'm the only girl. I can be the bitch that I truly feel I am…

IT'S JUST SO BORING! i'm freaking tired of doing the same crap every day--before it didn't bother me to do the same thing each and every day, but now i'm tired of it. and i'm only 14. who the heck is tired of life at 14?! that's pathetic! i wanna live life on the edge--go different places every day, do something different every day, eat something different every day--heck, i don't care. i'm tired of going home and eating quesadillas... or omlettes.. i'm tired of school, living at my house, and not…

  16. Yet another Julia inspired thread, after her 'Does this place here have any effect on your real life?' thread. Try not to hurt anyone on here but try to be honest now, do you view the people on here that are your friends as being just as important as those in real life? Its a bit of a tricky thing with me. It used to be that the answer was simply no, real life friends obviously were more important, and then I realised its a bit more complicated then that. There are those friends that you may not know quite as well, you still like seeing them and talking to them, but they arent close friends. These people are pretty much the same importance level to me, if I see D…

Ok......... let's come this episode of y life which happened....TATAAAAA: IN MY GERMAN LESSON (like soo often) We were talking about language..... about different languages etc.... we came to the question if animals have a language...or what else..? I raised my hand and said: "haha.....first we have to make clear what humans are...if they are animals or if they are just humans? If they are animals the animal language is a special language just like our language! If their are just animals we can't really say if it is language!" Surely...animals can "say what they want"...but is it a special language?

Well..... Do you think a best friend does exist? With whom you share EVERYTHING etc? You will forever keep in contact with? I think no....friends come and go of course.... and in my cae I think that I am my only best-friend.....there is NO person who knows sooo much about me like a best-friend should do.... I never had a real best-friend-.... well...I have some "best-friends" now....but they are not like the typical idea of a best-friend!

I'm not talking about relationships, just those things that get to you, certain issues which you can't stop discussing about and that give you a feeling of restlessness inside. In my case, it's discrimination and abortion. I used to watch Michael Moore's show, 'the Aweful Truth', and there was an episode about a reverend and his crew, they travelled all across America to go to a young gay man's funeral with big banners with horrible phrases like: 'God hates fags' or 'when a fag gets AIDS,God laughes'. I must have watched it 4 or 5 times, still every single time it was on I got upset, I couldn't believe there were ignorant people like that in the 21st Century. The other …

I honestly cant remember anything about last night. Yet: -I swam, fully clothed, in the sea, then in the river -I yelled at ghosts insistently for 2 hours -I kicked a cop in the THIGH and ran away -I hooked up with a 35 year old woman -I ran around a house of strangers, naked -I slept in the sand on a golf course -I chased some sheep, then ran away from them -I jumped a barbwire fence and got my clothes and self torn up -I told a guy at a chinese restaurant that Id shoot him -I ran infront of a car travelling 10mph, and got hit by it AND- its all true Wonderful night thought
