My friend seems to be under the impression that English, because of it's slang and such, is much more flexible then most languages. She speaks Spanish and French, so I guess she has a right to speak... But I dunno, surely slang exists in other languages? My friend only learnt how to speak other languages in an English speaking country so she wouldn't learn all the in's and out's of it. How good are you at speaking infront of lots of people? I used to be horrible, even infront of a small class of 20 kids, I'd stumble and mumble. I suppose I wasn't stand-out horrible, but in my mind, everyone was laughing at me, if I heard someone snigger, I assumed it was about my awful reading. In truth though I was just a kid who couldn't speak clearly and perfectly, like every other kid, nobody was laughing at me. Just reading the thread about being Immature, and just kept thinking about things that werent relevant enough to the thread to post it in there. I find in me becoming "adult" I still feel more and more like a child.
