The Hunger Games : probably like 8 or 9/10.

Wasss so good. Waited in a huge ass line for the midnight showing. There was a news guy filming the line up...Guess it was a slow news night. But the movie missed a bunch of stuff from the book, which is natural movies always pail in comparison to the book. Soo book > movie. But I thought they did an awesome job, and Jennifer Lawrence is awesome. So yaa, I enjoyed it. 12.99 well spent.

Can't wait for Catching Fire

Lars and the Real Girl 9.5/10

The Hunger Games, a 9/10.

Also 12.99? For one ticket? ^^ D;

With the exchange rate that's about €10, which what my bf payed for the two of us.

(Day time tickets for the win!)

Carnage

I also saw the Hunger Games. I'll give it an 8, it was very entertaining and wasn't all teen romancey like everyone stereotypes it to be. All the acting was good, and I thought the "game master" character was especially interesting (and his beard was awesome). I think it would have been better if they showed more of the violence, but I understand why they didn't. It would have isolated too many fans. I did here the directors cut receive an R rating though....

I also heard it's the #1 non sequal opening ever, as well as the #1 non summer opening. Those numbers probally couldn't have been achieved if it stayed R. I never read the book so I can't compare, but I'd recommended it. It was fun.

Shame 8.5/10

Hunger Games 7/10

shame 7.5/10

great acting, yet i found the end a bit predictable. well done showing the boredom of such routine though.

My husband made me sit down and watch The Green Lantern. 2/10, it sucked. But I will give Ryan Reynolds a 9 for hottness. ;)

Pulp Fiction - 9/10

Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang - 6.5/10

Dead Bodies - 5/10

Donnie Darko - 8/10

Killing Bono

9/10

This movie was really cool. They actually used U2 music (not all the time, but it was there), it was based on a true story, and they even had someone playing Paul McGuiness. While it was a rockumentary, it kept in theme with every other Irish movie in the sense that it was utterly tragic at points. I won't spoil anything but it was also about brotherhood, and the actors were very good. I recommend it to any U2 fan. Warning though, there are at least two...dirty scenes.:stunned:
