i caught eternal sunshine of the spotless mind 2 days ago. i wasn't sure if i would like it as i've heard some pretty bad reviews but nonetheless, went in with an open mind and...i really enjoyed it. it's very, not even sure how to describe it, so i won't.

on a different level, the effects were amazing. i really enjoyed it = 8.5/10

 

I've seen this film about 4 times now and i still love it. Possibly my fave film ever! I watched it again a week or two ago. Kate Winslet is great in it and as for Jim Carrey, i think this is my fave role i've ever seen him in. He's brilliant at doing OTT characters but sometimes they can be a bit too OTT for my liking and i thought he did a fantastic job playing Joel, a more introverted character.

 

Anyway, i think it's a beautiful film, very different and original, and i just love it to bits! :heart: :)

Completely different matter. Pearl Harbour was panned by virtually ALL the critics and was completely OTT.

You can't say that about The Holiday, which is a "happy" movie with a "feel-good" factor........................................... it might not win any awards, but it's still way better than PH.;)

Watched The Holiday tonight, I'll give it a 7.5/10 - it was a nice, light, girly Christmas film and just the perfect thing to do two nights before Christmas with a bunch of girls :D Cute story, cute actors, everything just all cute :P
