April 30, 200719 yr I was a little disappointed with the new single. I mean, just like you said it briggins, it's not that great and not that bad.
May 1, 200719 yr well.... its a radio friendly song.... and they need to grab as much attention as they can if they want to be 'successful' in the eyes of the main media... know what I mean? New management.. new label... they have to impress.... and Heinrich is a nice and easy way to introduce them to the masses. I'll love them regardless...
May 1, 200719 yr Can one of you shoot me the link for Heinrich Maneuver? (not the live version) ^ if someone decides to shoot Gareth the link.... please do it via pm and not the board... ta! ;)
May 1, 200719 yr i have to admit i have developed a bit of a liking to interpol since my last visits to this site :D i think they're awesome ... haven't heard the new single but i will be very soon:D
May 2, 200719 yr so who merged the Interpol threads????? I thought they were well enough thrown in the realms of the board.... I liked being the author of this thread......

I LOOOOOVE The song. much more comercial than usual, but just brill as usual, reminds me of PDA a bit.:dance: Im so excited!
May 3, 200719 yr i'm sooo dispointed with heinrich.. :( but still having high hopes for OLTA. just a bit less.. :)
May 3, 200719 yr ^really??? I can't get enough of it.... lol it makes me so happy!!! I can't stop playing air drums to it.... everyone keeps talking smack about album cover..... I think its interesting.... they're entire marketing is different, but I like it. Its eye catching.. and I think thats a good thing when you're being introduced to the 'masses' so to speak....... Yes, Heinrich is radio friendly.... just as Slow Hands was..... but this is powerful... and I can only imagine what it was like in the studio for them... they wrote this album under completely different circumstances than the previous two... and they were in New York!! I love it...... it has a real NYC feel...
May 4, 200719 yr here's a link for a pdf. download from Filter Mag.... http://www.filter-mag.com/minidownloads/gmg17_download.pdf good stuff in there.... :) and a really nice picture! :wink3:
May 4, 200719 yr I'm not disappointed at all. I'm certain that the songs will grow on us. That is almost always the case with Interpol.

May 4, 200719 yr I'm not going to listen to any new interpol tracks until I get the CD in my hands. Same here.
May 7, 200719 yr NICE!!! is that your first Pol purchase? I actually discovered them with that album... heard Slow Hands on the radio.... and I liked. Then I got the album... completely fell in love with Take You On A Cruise..... its was all over for me then... lol bought Bright Lights... and BAM! Things were never the same for me again!!!! lol Paul's vocals sold me completely.
May 7, 200719 yr Yeah, I've had Antics on my computer for a while. I really wanted to buy it but it cost around $25. But I saw it on sale for $10 so I couldn't pass that up. I love it. Its an awesome album. My favourite song would have to be Cmere. I just love the lyrics to it. I can relate to them.

They are still them, just a bit more friendly, that's all.
May 7, 200719 yr I can tell how insane are you pol freaks...specially you Camu!!...:nice: who has the lyrics??
