I really hope it won't sound like Homework... bought that album last week and I couldn't bring myself to like it even after a week... Its just too... umm :confused:

Daft Punk reveal album tracklisting

Double live album set to be released

 

Daft Punk have revealed the tracklisting for their live album 'Alive 2007'.

 

The album will be available as a single CD and a two disc case bound book.

 

The book edition will feature the show's encore, the video for 'Harder Better Faster Stronger' (live) and around 50 pages of pictures taken during the shows.

 

The live version of 'Harder Better Faster Stronger' will be released as a single , and have a video directed by Oliver Gondry that will feature footage shot by fans at the tour closer in Brooklyn on August 9.

 

Thomas Bangalter from the band said of the concept of the video: "It's a montage of people shooting the song in the audience with 250 camera.

 

"We were inspired by the Beastie Boys 'Awesome, I Fuckin Shot That'" and tried to do that in a four minute video."

Daft Punk Tour Dates Leaked

 

A source close to the band has leaked Daft Punk’s proposed tour dates for 2010, including dates in Melbourne and Sydney.

 

The duo have been off the road for a while now, but sure have a hell of a show to top for their next world trip.

 

The tour is proposed to kick off at Le Zénith in Paris, France on July 30, 2010 and will take them through to Manchester, UK on September 6.

 

The Melbourne shows are penciled in for August 22 in Sydney and 28 in Melbourne. The last time they were in Australia was December 2007.

 

The full leaked dates are as follows:

 

JULY

1 - Heineken Music Hall, Amsterdam, Netherlands

3 - Allianz-Arena, Munich, Germany

5 - The O2, Dublin, Ireland

wow i swear i remember posting something in the daft punk thread last week..........or was that just a dream :S

 

anyways absolutely LOVE Homework and their live album Alive 2007, that mash up of Harder Faster and Around the World is one of the most amazing things ever done!! i cant wait to hear their soundtrack for Tron Legacy, theyve been given us some teasers every few weeks. here is the latest one which i really really like

i think they still hold the record for the fastest selling concert in Sydney history. they sold 30 000 tickets in less than 2mins to their 2007 show here.
