Favourite Paul Song: For just a brilliantly written song, Long and Winding Road. But I think the creativity and excellent feel that is Revolution 1, that takes the cake. But hell! Back in the USSR, and Helter Skelter, as well as Blackbird. Paul was BRILLIANT on the White Album... Hmmm its between Revolution 1 and Helter Skelter. Two brilliant brilliant songs.

 

DAMNIT I have to choose, Helter Skelter it is.

 

Favourite John Song: Oooooh hard. I am the Walrus... hmmm it just beats Tomorow Never Knows. Yes I'll go with I am the Walrus, I may feel like changing it though... Gah, now other songs are coming into my head. No wait! It HAS to be Strawberry Fields Forever. Im sure thats my favourite Beatles song (Yes! Ive actually managed to pick one!) Thats far and above everything ever. Favourite John Song, definately Strawberry Fields. :cool:

 

Favourite George Song: Its All Too Much! Old Brown Shoe... hmm.... Something... It may have to be Something. Bit of an obvious one, what a song. Its also one of his more conventional songs (Especially for late beatles) but its so great. I want to pick one of his spaced out tunes but this is too great. Credit to McCartney for a wickedly clever bassline too.

 

Favourite Ringo song: Damn yizall Im probably the only one doing this! :P I really really enjoy Dont Pass Me By and Octopus' Garden. The piano in Dont Pass Me By sounds like a crazy bouncing house or something to me.

 

But I said songs that he SANG count as Ringo songs, so With a Little Help From My Friends is THERE baby. What a great song.

Actually I think most of Pauls songs were written by his own. Even the early stuff was rarely written by both of them together and this continued and they only actually wrote a song together if they pasted 2 of their own material together to make one song. Like in 'A Day in the Life'. The bit in the middle was Paul's separate song he was going to throw away, but he joined it into John's and they used an orchestra to seperate the 3 parts.
