Yeahhhhh.

Oh. Tbh. I actually haven't got the album. :shame: But I've watched many performances so I kind of know the songs haha.

I'm trying not to get the standard edition. :freak:

Ly you need to tell me these things :P . I had a download to the album online a while ago that I found for Emma... but it seems to of been taken down now :(

However this is a really cheap sight to buy music. The entire Plastic Beach album is only $2.16 in american dollars!

If not all the songs are on youtube. If you have a PC you should download one of those youtube to MP3 convertors. If takes the song on you tube and turns it into an mp3 that is saved in your itunes or media player :D

Half of the Clash are playing with the Gorillaz live band, as in Mick Jones and Paul Simonon. Paul and Damon worked together on 'The Good the Bad and the Queen', and I suppose he wanted to work on Gorillaz too, and the Mick joined. It's very cool. Damon calls it the 'Clash sandwich'.

Teeny bopper - no. Music lover-yes. If I really like a band or musician I tend to listen to all of their stuff, and so they might be mainly what I'll listen to for a while. It's just the way I roll :). Is that what you mean?

Edit: Hey, check it out:

:D

Haha I was just kidding with the term teeny bopper. About your listening pleasure, it's each to their own :)

And thanks for the info on Gorillaz - Clash.

I've been REALLY into The Clash the last year or so now and when I heard they were in Gorillaz now with Damon.. I wanted to die of happiness. I love how Damon brings musicians from all different backgrounds together and makes wonderful music with all of them.

:surprised: I'm a scary gargoyle on a tower~

^ that you made with Plastic Power...

Oooh really? That's awesome, 'cus Rhinestone's is my favorite from the album. But Some Kind of Nature and Empire Ants are right behind it.

Btw. we should have a Plastic Beach listening party sometime if you guys want to :)

Your rhinestone eyes are like factories far away......:D

We should do the listening party sometime!

OT-but did someone REALLY start a Bieber thread, why God WHY???

What? Are they not gonna be there for the rest of the tour? I thought they were gonna be at most of the shows?

Mos Def is going to perform at two other dates but he's in some theater thing and takes months.

And Lou, well he's really not going to commit to every other date. He's doing some projects so he will be busy during the rest of the tour.

:cry::cry::cry::cry:

I wanted to see Lou so bad

:bigcry:

I found The Essential The Clash (those kind of albums) selling for a really cheap price here. Cheaper than most music CDs.

I'm quite sure I can find a download link.

Thanks for the link, yeah, that's cheap, I wish I bought things through the Internet.

I'm quite sure I can find Plastic Beach selling at CD stores here.

I'm trying to save the surprise when I buy the CD. Because if I download, I don't think I would ever buy the CD. :\

Thats the only thing that sucks a bit about the Gorillaz shows, that some of the collaborators are not certain to be there for the show you go to :( its a small niggle, I mean you still get two members of the clash! This is pretty awesome in itself and obviously most people go for Damon, but yea, its a shame everyone isnt guaranteed for all shows. Its just not possible I guess, they are busy people with many projects going on at once.

It's amazing that a band that has so many musicians contributing in their music can actually go for a world tour, imo.

Yea I agree, how they have managed to set dates, and they are doing alot of dates! So yea, very well done on that point.

It must cost a lot. :uhoh:

I was also surprised about the world tour announcement. Considering the financial situation EMI is facing, it was really weird.

I hope the us tour let them sell a lot of PB copies. It's already out of the Billboard 200 and it hanging on a thin line on the UK charts. The only supporting market was the Japanese one (Stylo reached at number 5 on the Japan Hot 100).

Plastic Beach got strong debut showing, i'll give you that. The following sales were the problem. They really need to hit it off big with the next single:

-It could be Superfast Jellyfish, has some nice humor in the lyrics plus it contains a catchy tune.

-Or Rhinestone Eyes. Even though the single has not been officialy released yet, it's going good on American Radio, recieving a lot of airplay by commercial and alternative stations, which to me is really impressive.

Yeah, and didn't Damon say that they spend more on their live shows than Lady Gaga?

I never thought sales could bring them much money compared to touring.

Well, I suppose they do it for the music, not money.

:surprised: Superfast could be the next Feel Good Inc, though at first listen, most people might put it off as silly and laugh at it. But if it gets more airplays, then they could grow to love it.

If Gorillaz's songs are played on radios here, then they must be famous.

I know I've heard El Manana, Feel Good, To Binge, and Rhinestone Eyes on our radio stations here in the U.S. They aren't played that much though.

Feel Good Inc. is still the only song the majority of ppl know by them definitely in the U.S.

It's getting good publicity.

I finally found a hard copy of their first album in town yesterday,

ohh yeah

Plus going by the stickers on the front, it was €4 cheaper than before  which adds to the awesome.

Very good Emma!

I can't wait for the vinyl to get to a decent price, I need to get it and Demon Days :wacky:

It seems Paul and Cass are not looking that direction only because they seem to have spotted bigger tatas on the horizon... :laugh3:

This made me laugh out loud! :laugh3:

B-Sides are really awesome too, like Hong Kong, Left Hand Suzuki Method and People.

Definitely agree. I LOVE Hong Kong. I think the 'live in manchester' is the best version.

This would be a lot of fun :D

Haha! Don't worry, I didn't take offence or anything, and you're very welcome.

Yeahh! That's kind of good.

Though I don't really want them to be too famous. I'm possessive that way. :disappointed:

Hey Emma! Nice to see you in this thread.

That's good!

Yeah I am too to a degree. I want to keep Damon and the boyz to ourselves

It's bad enough Paris Hilton jumped his bones at Coachella, I was surprised she even knew who he was. When I found out she kissed him I hated her with such rage

I know! She is such an idiot. I almost feel sorry for her - she's so clueless. I don't really feel jealous, 'cause you just know he was bemused by the whole thing. I'm sure he finds her ridiculous! I'm surprised that she knew him too tbh.
