The whole stage set-up was awful. Most of the standing audience couldn't even see the band (only the top of their heads - I didn't even see Sean Moore the entire night because he was so low onstage )

 

The songs were really obscure, and to be honest I did not enjoy myself.

*appreciates*, haven't heard many better albums than The Holy Bible, if any. It's a vile record, but I mean that in a good way ;)

 

When you go through the Manics' full career and pick out their best songs, there aren't loads of bands who can hold up that well.

Yeah, good song that. They're all good in their own way, Archives of Pain has a really, cool dark opening and when the guitar kicks in after a minute or so it's great.

oh yeah i love that one too! Track 2 is my favourite though. that album has the most brilliant lyrics! ah i miss richey.
