I can totally understand why people want to call him a **** when he comes up in conversation, but Mark looks for examples to bring up Bieber and Gaga. It can be any sort of conversation but he finds a way to bring them up.

Dont get me wrong I despise things like Gaga or Twilight. (Bieber I really dont care about enough to have an opinion on). If someone brings them up in a way that allows me to voice my opinion ... then i most certainly will.

 

But Mark I think you lose here because they occupy your thought so much that you bring them up first so you can discuss your loathing.

 

I for one, would not do that because it makes them important.... and they are occupying my time and energy that could be used on something more positive or constructive.

 

So its really in your own best interest not to bring them up.

But hating people who are famous, earn millions and will never care about what he thinks, is Mark's entire life. Look at this topic he created 5 years ago for example (Has he changed), I mean we all hate celebrities at some point, but who obsesses over it like he does? Nobody else is that sad.

The real main difference is that I (or anyone else) don't do it a fraction as much as he does, so to say I change the topic around to Mark 'most' of the time isn't right, or even we obsess over him as much as he does about celebrities. I do go through stages of talking about him more and through stages of never even mentioning him, sometimes my life gets busy (There's been a handful of gaps when I've been off here for many months or over a year) or I get in a relationship, but for 5 years we all have to consistently endure the same old shit like this:

The topic had nothing to do with Gaga, whatsoever, what he said wasn't even funny, and I'm not the only one who just wish it wasn't on here.

 

There are no stages of calming it down, it's constantly been like that and it doesn't stop. So if I see someone talking about how annoying it is, like in this topic, I'm going to voice my opinion. This thread highlights how he's still the sad man he was 5 years ago, fussing over celebrities that wouldn't affect his life if he didn't choose for them to.

 

I thought I'd reply to this point (On behalf of Lore and others who get involved in Mark disputes) for everyone to understand why there is a difference, but I don't really care what you think Final Track, I just remember you being a bit of a knob around here. Two things about that aren't really fair: I don't flame people just because they have a different opinion, I flame people who are unreasonable and ignorant and happen to have a different opinion. And I don't criticise every person just because they may like or be impartial to Mark, in the way that he does when talking about Gaga/randomcelebritymarkhates. I also don't reply 20 times in a thread repeating the same opinion about him like he regularly does about Gaga.

I think the point is moreso that it is the repetitive behavior often happening rather than celeb gossip or whatever off the point garble that has been mentioned.

I think the difference between Mark and Reilly is that Mark keeps going on and on about how he hates Lady Gaga and the thing is, the reason is not exactly concrete. Reilly also does turn things against Mark, however, I can understand why he does so.

Well look at this topic for example, I pointed out what Mark did to piss me off and made it clear what's wrong with it (So it's actually relevant!) instead of just making some vague sarcastic negative comment about him and adding a rolleyed smileys (Irrelevant :smug:) because there's nothing to discuss there, it would just be me going "Just a reminder: Mark's a tool".

 

If I see someone acting like a tool, having an unreasonable or biased viewpoint, I'm going to say something about it most of the time. It turns out Mark constantly does this, so usually I'll point out how fucked it is, doesn't matter if I'd pointed out 4 things that made no sense yesterday.
