streets - 'dry your eyes' video question about the guy

 

so i was watching the streets video: 'dry your eyes' tonite and i was wondering what kind of shoes he was wearing in that video? i'm thinking they are pumas but i'm not sure. i need some white shoes with some like stripes like his or whatever. i'll try and get a picture but if anyone is a streets fan and like knows.. help a brotha out.

Star explains why he killed off The Beats

 

Mike Skinner, aka The Streets, has explained why he killed off his record label, The Beats.

 

Skinner held a funeral for the label – which had been home to The Mitchell Brothers, Example and Professor Green – on December 19.

 

“It just comes down to the fact that the traditional record label is dead,” Skinner told NME.COM, talking about the reasons behind his decision to call time on the label.

 

“The Beats represents me growing up,” he continued. “Spectating was more nerve-wracking than performing.

 

“What I’m doing now is looking for the thing you can create that embraces the next generation,” he explained. “I’m really into what you can do online and I’d rather be at the centre of it.”

today i found out that the album that leaked has a slightly different tracklist! :wacko:

it is known as "the twitter" album now. :)

mike skinner does not twitter anymore and he doesn t want to write anymore.

from now on he releases videos, statements and new tracks via the streets website only!
