I hope you can go, too! :nice:

Their music is so addictive. I absolutely fell in love with the Cuttings II EP and basically the new album plus the two bonus tracks ('No Sound But The Wind' is so freaking brilliant, it's a shame it was wasted as a three seconds filler in this Twilight thing. And 'These Streets Are Still Home To Me' is lovely as well). I must have it permanentely on repeat.

And they are gorgeous live. I'd go every minute if I could. :D

Hey! I have found some great music of Editors, and I want to keep on search more... so anybody can give me titles of songs similar to Racing Rats or A End Has A Start? :)

Even similar groups!

Thanks ;)

Great that you found them!

Well, as you like The Racing Rats and An End Has A Start, try the whole album. Songs I'd recommend are Bullets, Munich and Lights (from the album The Back Room) and Like Treasure, You Don't Know Love and The Boxer (from the album In This Light And On This Evening).

There are some amazing b-sides as well, in case you are interested in more. :nice:

Thanks!

I love Bullets and Munich, and i'm going to looking for the other songs :D

seeing them friday!!

Tell us how it was then! :) (I'm so jealous, by the way, my concert's already three months ago :()

Did Tom talk a bit to the audience?

Because at my concert he only said 'hello', introduced the band member during a song and excused for his guitar which wasn't working at a point. Maybe I'm too used to my other favourite bands whose singers tend to talk a lot, but ... I felt like they weren't interacting with the audience too much.

So this was not just because it rained all day in my city, then. *puh*

I found it a bit sad that they didn't say more, but they are extreemly good live, so, I didn't mind too much.

Did you take some photos?

I just started getting into them and I love their album An End Has A Start :wacky:

I'm listening to their latest album right now, and am I right to feel a bit disappointed? :\

Many fans were but I really got into it. Like a lot. Like I kind of got obsessed with it.

The latest album is a grower I have to admit. I was very disappointed in the begining and thought of not buying it at all. But I did and I'm glad I did so.

If you like An End Has A Start more, check their debut The Back Room out. :nice:

^I downloaded it and will listen to it very soon :wacky:

And yeah, I am completely in love with An End Has A Start. I just learned how to play When Anger Shows on the piano, I am obsessed with that song :freak:

I'll give their latest another chance, since you tell me it's a grower, but really.. anyways, we'll see :)

Escape The Nest made me addicted to it for quite long.

I love slightly insane and weird songs but I didn't really get into 'In This Light And On This Evening' - except of the magnificent Like Treasure - until I sat down and listened to The Cuttings EP II. Do you have that? On it are songs that didn't make it on the album and are pretty experimental in terms of Editor's style. I recommend I Want A Forest, it was stuck in my head for WEEKS. :wacky: And A Life As A Ghost. Never felt much for Human though.

I got curious and heard some song in Youtube.

There actually pretty good :D

Hmm no I don't have it  I should think of downloading it soon. I still have to listen to The Back Room. I'll check The Cuttings EP II afterwards :wacky:

I think "The Racing Rats" has suddenly become my favorite Editors song. :)

I'm not really a fan of their latest album, although "Bricks and Mortar" came on Shuffle in the car the other day, which is growing on me. But other than that and "You Don't Know Love", I don't find too much to like on ITLAOTE.

Even though I have the album on iTunes, I can't actually find a physical copy of The Back Room anywhere.

Cuttings II is absolutely brilliant.

This House Is Full of Noise is haunting. Life As A Ghost is powerful.

The songs just seems SO HEAVY, which is nice to see, apart from Human.

I really look forward to the 2 new songs of the Eat Raw Meat single! :D

I finally got a bit more into the last album. I like Papillon, You Don't Know Love, The Boxer and Like Treasure (). However, I can't stand their new single, Eat Raw Meat = Blood Drool. :(

^Wow, I love that song. It's just nothing I have ever heard before, so unique but yet so editors

I can't say I'm a huge fan of Eat Raw Meat either. It's just such an "uncomfortable" song if you know what I mean, and not really in a good "Editors" way.

I dunno, I guess I'm just completely disenchanted with Editors' new album, even after several listens.

i have to disagree with you. the album is brilliant, each song is unique and the sound is much more darker, which is fitting to the band and the lyrics

Eat Raw Meat is meant to be an uncomfortable song, just look at the title, but it serves its purpose in sounding so unique. chorus is catchy and the piano at the end adds their routes to the tune

Yeah, well I don't really like it anyways. The opinions seem to be shared :P I am a bit like Corkus though.

anyone got the b-sides? :)

Are they already released?

Edit: Did some research like every good fan should do. There are previews on iTunes already. Alone sounds promising. Thousands Of Lovers not so much at the first listen. But the end of the preview sounds good. Although I feel like they took the melody of No Sound But The Wind for the voice and an instrumental mix of Eat Raw Meat and some song from the Cuttings II EP and put that together. The end of the preview is a quite good guitar solo like in Like Treasure. :nice:

I thought they were out in May...I guess it's just the single?

It's a LITTLE confusing..

and are you calling me a bad fan? :O :(
