Devestating review of Fix You

Featured Replies

I just discovered a review of the single "Fix You".. It's by a critic from Wessex, called "JS" - you can find it here: http://www.wessexscene.co.uk/article.php?sid=1164. I was kind of pissed when I read it..

This guy says that Fix You is "predictable, entirely unoriginal and mind-numbingly boring".. Below, you can also see a review of the Kaiser Chiefs - this reviewer seems to hate this particular style of music in general!

^oh! i just read it!!!

"Either the Coldplay boys completely lack perspective, or they really know their target audience. ‘Fix You’ may be ‘anthemic’, ‘emotional’, ‘life-affirming’, ‘inspired’ and ‘sensitive’. However it’s also predictable, entirely unoriginal and mind-numbingly boring"

ehh.....is it just me or that doesnt make sense..

:dizzy2:

This guy may not love "fix you", but I this his critic is very needlessly agressive !!

I ain't even gonna read it.

 ^ you have the right idea and i will do the same ... reviews like that are from people who do not know what they are talking about ....

I think its about right ;) , glad to see I'm not the only one.

Pfft, some of these critics just don't know the meaning of music. The Kaiser Chiefs review was emphasized a LOT (Sorry if I spelt that wrong by the way ) compared to the Fix You review. God, when will these critics ever quit?

*sharpens it*

*uses it write name on the road*

I agree Charlie, it's a good song, but it is contrived

Actually it's a very bad review - no cases, theses only.

Funny is the fact, that the guy is talking halfway through the pretty short review about other bands - it sounds, that his intention was to mention his favourite bands, not to critizise fix you :-)

However, I don't care about reviews... I have my own opinion, I guess...

to each his own.

But that's one bad review to hundreds of good ones, I wouldn't worry with this ;)

Who cares what the review says? Still a great song, right.
