January 4, 200719 yr TVFTA-I absolutely love it, FTRTTR has never been my fav but I still love it. Woo, I excited for this year a lot bands dropping albums, hopefully that means more gigs for me :idea2:
January 4, 200719 yr sounds fuckin' amazing! I can't wait for it! Can't wait for them to tour, either, whoo hoo!!! They are really great at slow songs, like Despair or No Buses. I know that that isn't a fave with fans, though (meaning Riot Van) I've always liked it. I remember when I saw them in June I was sitting in the GA line and some guys were sat beside me. They were talking about Riot Van and how they hoped they wouldn't play it. I didn't tell them that they play the whole album :laugh4:  They opened with it and I felt the kid next to me go "ahhhh!" and I just laughed. They didn't really care or anything, it was just funny... but yeah, I think the next album's going to be really great. I can't wait! I loved the EP so they're not a one shot to ME. To the NME, most likely. But the NME is a load of steaming crap. :laugh4:
January 6, 200719 yr Just in time for the summer festival tour  And just in time for them to tour the US when I move to NYC. Oh fuck yeah!

January 13, 200719 yr Yep, the management of this forum are really picky when it comes to 2 threads on the same band. The 2nd album will either be a success or it will be a massive flop.

March 8, 200719 yr Arctic Monkeys to team up with Girls Aloud for new single The Arctic Monkeys are to team up with Girls Aloud for a new single. The Sheffield band have already recorded a backing track for a song by the girl group, and soon they will meet up again to record a joint song. Frontman Alex Turner is keeping the plans under wraps, but hinted at the direction the music would be taking: "I think it's gonna be something a bit electronic, between me and you." The girls are equally excited about the collaboration, with Sarah Harding revealing: "I love these boys. They've got a strong future ahead of them." The Arctics already have a small history with Girls Aloud, having covered 'Love Machine' for Jo Whiley's Live Lounge on Radio 1 last year. source: ga-waiting.com omg this is so cool. hhehehehe. gotta admit that i like Girls Aloud a lot... well, i expect nice results!
