for me its just Secret Door, Potions Approaching and Fire and the Thud which are a little weak (the last being the only "bad" song). otherwise the other stuff is just as good if not better than everything else they have done.

No more news on second single, likely to be PV or Cornerstone??

Have to disagree with Secret Door, I like the Shadow Puppets feel to the song. My least fave is Fire and the thud.

Cornerstone is my favorite song of the album

I hope they are better than they were at Leeds

I've loved them so much every other time, think it was just an off day though

Haha yes! If he's not you'll be in for an amazing show

If he is, they will still be pretty damn good, I just have high standards when it comes to AM shows cos they are so good.

Good, either way I'm sure I'll be pleased, considering I've never seen them live before so my standards aren't very high.

How long of a set do they usually play?

Well they've started doing encores now! They play quite a lot, but I wouldn't comment on them playing loads, if that makes sense.

Oooh thanks, now I'll know not to leave after the lights go off!

Yep, that makes perfect sense.

So AM was awesome on Wednesday, however, the show overall wasn't so great. The opening band, location, and music overall were brilliant, and Alex seemed completely sober and in a very good mood (he kept interacting with the crowd in the pit, which was lovely), but the audience was so horrible that it nearly ruined the show for me. The theatre I was in had 3 balconies and then the pit, and I was in the 3rd balcony (but I snuck down into the 1st balcony almost right away). The pit looked very lively, but nearly everyone in it was completely wasted and stoned out of their minds. It would have been much better than the balcony, though- cos where I was, absolutely no one was standing or singing or moving at all. People clapped at the end of each song, but no one stood up even once. I got my friends to get up with me at one point, but we got yelled at by the people sitting behind us for blocking their views.

Quite simply, it was ridiculous. :\ It was really hard to enjoy the show while sitting still, but the Arctic Monkeys themselves were fabulous. They played an awesome and flawless set, and it went on for about 20 minutes longer than expected, which was exciting. But overall, I had a pretty disappointing experience (and I don't blame the band at all, obviously!!).

I know, it's such an amazing place. It's really trippy on the inside, too, with all this antique rainbow/neon stuff and these giant Buddha statues.

It looks like it has character, I love that in a venue.

I hated the time I had seats for Arctic Monkeys too, I can feel the pain there.

So do I, and it's definitely the best venue I've been to!

Yeah, it was really disappointing. :( I'm definitely getting general admission tickets if I see them again.

When I saw them that time, they wouldn't even let us stand up cos it was on a balcony, but in the end everyone just stood up and they couldn't do anything. Lucky I've seen them 3 other times...haha

*Exactly* what happened with me. I think part of the reason everyone was sitting was cos of security. And ahhh, jealous that you've seen them 3 times!

4 ;)

The secret gig was amazing, one of the best gigs ever.
