This has got to be the most WTF album announcement since Weezer's Hurley.

Brick By Brick reminds me of Franz Ferdinand meets Oasis.

Which isn't a compliment, although the song itself is OK.

I really don't mind the song at all, and with the Submarine EP coming out under the AM title that's a lot of new music for the time being!

3 month build up to the album? after radiohead's 5 day build up anything more than a week feels too long. i feel that long build ups lack intensity unless than act/band keeps their fans on their feet with gimmicks and interesting promotions all the way through.

 

if AM had come out and said hey we're finished and we're dropping it in 10 days they would've had most of the music world in the palm of their hands for the next 2 weeks. but lets see what they do over the next dozen or so weeks.

The submarine EP is fantastic. It's why I love alex turner as an artist. Last two tracks stand out.

Yeah ! :lol: I'm loving this title. I was rather disappointed by the new song though. Why the hell did they decide to make somebody else do the vocals? I want Alex Turner's vocals back. And it was nothing amazing musically either. It's still an enjoyable song but it's just not good enough for an Arctic Monkeys song and it didn't feel like them so much (probably because of this vocals thing).

Listening to Submarine now!

Stuck on the puzzle is one of my favorite tracks of 2011. Magical.
