I'm absolutely pro. I think everyone should be able to make their own decisions without politicians or the church getting in their way. Abortions are illegal here but they're still a reality.Hundreds of women suffer the consequences of having an abortion in a wrong place with negligent people and it should be stopped. The church might reject all contraceptive devices, but still, there should be an educational campaign so everyone can make the right decision.

I completely agree, I have quite a basic viewpoint on it.

 

Obviously killing a foetus is killing a breathing, thinking creature of life, but its a fact that what happens in the first 20months of life doesnt actually effect you until you are at least 20months old and can realise things that have happened. It's like killing a goldfish.

 

I see it as the same way as throwing away a condom with sperm on it as killing potential life. Abortion is the same thing.

 

I dont think lives should be based on a mistake. And women often get pregnant through rape, how can anyone expect a woman to raise or give birth to a child after such a traumatic experience?

I'm totally disagree... we are not so powerful to decide for the life of another human being.. I'm agree just when it's a risk for the mom's health to have the baby

At least I think..and many will continue thinking that way...making damn excuses just becuase they knew not better to use better protection. But in cases where it was forced and people don't want that baby, have it...please and at least put it up for adoption...give it a fighting chanceeeee!!!

I disagree. I read that it says in the Bible that like doesn't start until blood is running through the veins, and that doesn't happen until third or fourth week.

 

Besides, if a person doesn't want a child or is not in the position of taking care of one what can you do? Can you force them to work hard to support it? If abortions were illegal everywhere there would be even more poverty than now

Good point. Which is why people should be aware of the many options out there. But third world countries are hard to bring into this, because it is a comdpletly different situation than what not third world contries have..the greater ability of choice

I'm jewish, but I bring up the bible to prove my point. If a woman has an abortion on the first week of pregnancy, she wouldn't be killing a life, she would be taking cells out of her, like removing a kidney or something

But I dont think that most girls today are getting married by virgins.And not all guys are raedy to get married in 17.So you must have a baby even in this situation?

But okay hypothetically. Me...I have thought of this time and time again, because i am a rare one that loves children and wants one real bad (though now is not the time) But say I did get pregnant. Yes<<<and I say this because I know myself well enough to have already decided it in my heart>>>that I would go through the pregnancy even if I had prior plans. Because the life of a child is like 10 million billion infiitiy times more important than an education that can wait.

 

If it would starve..come on, here if i have to, there is welfare or something...i will see if ANY of my family will be willing to support my child. IF all fails and helps is lost. Then adoption is my next option. Or the childs father/family might want to help out.

No...I think that abortion should be outlawed, though that will not happen entirely. But it is different. Because the baby won't even KNOW it died because someone ended it's small life and ripped it out of a mother's womb...which is made for holding the baby to begin with...till it's BIRTH.

 

I love to discuss these things, but then it makes me crushed on the inside to see how many excuses people come up with to make abortion okay. I know that rape and forced prostitution is tough tough tough (not personally, but i can empathize) but still in my heart of hearts, i wish the child bearers would just have the child and if it is too traumatic to keep it...take it somewhere that someone else will love it.
