Dunno, but hey, maybe. That would be freakin' AMAZING. I think their relationship is still a bit rocky (as it's owt to be), so that might be too big of an exposure. I hope they've been talking to/seeing each other more though (obviously it's not reported, but I hope that's not an excuse...), since Pete is back with Kate and the lot... Hm. The on-off boyfriend of supermodel Kate Moss was released on bail from Thames Magistrates Court on the condition that he checked into The Priory clinic in west London where he will have to observe a nightly curfew. It is understood that Miss Moss, who has been a constant at the singer's side during his recent battle with crack cocaine and heroin addiction, will help foot the bill for his £1,200 a day treatment. Miss Moss herself is no stranger to the clinic. In 1999 she spent three months there being treated for 'exhaustion' and later admitted problems with drink and drugs. Magistrates gave Doherty bail after he pleaded guilty to five drug charges brought against him. The court heard how Doherty, who has battled with crack cocaine and heroin addiction for several years, was caught in possession of cocaine and diamorphine as he drove in his car on April 20. The shambolic star was caught once again on April 29 with cocaine despite being on bail. On August 7 he was caught a third time with crack cocaine. His defence lawyer, Sean Curran, said: "The are facts clear but I would urge the court to consider that Mr Doherty has made every effort to improve his situation. "The fact is he is a drug addict and he has sought help," he added. "He is trying to get off the drug and he is also doing considerably less than he was. "The spirit of how he has conducted himself is a testament to the fact he wants to get better." At this point, softly spoken Doherty told the court how he had recently tested negative for heroin. The singer recently travelled abroad to have a heroin-blocking implant inserted in his arm. Mr Curran told the court that Doherty's career would suffer greatly if he was jailed until his court appearance on September 4 this year. The prosecution cited his inability to steer clear of drugs while on bail as a cause for concern. Mr Curran said: "Mr Doherty's career is all-important, if he loses that the consequences could be very serious. Pentonville Prison would be unhealthy for him, he would be exposed to many drugs with little support. At least out of jail he can get all the support he needs to stay off drugs." Magistrate Mrs A Rose said: "I've granted you bail on three conditions. You must live and sleep at The Priory, and you are to obey a daily curfew from 10.00pm to 8.00am. You will not be allowed to leave the clinic between those times." The defence lawyer asked if the singer would be allowed to perform in any up coming concerts. The magistrate said bail conditions would mean that he would be unable to perform. The magistrate also warned he could face a jail sentence. Speaking outside court, Doherty's close friend Danny Newman, 30, said: "Pete is not a criminal and I am pleased with this sentence, it will give him a chance to continue to recover." The singer smiled as he walked down the stairs of Thames Magistrates Court. Pete Doherty lit up a cigarette and smiled at onlookers as he was driven off to spend tonight at The Priory.
