But yeah, other than that I'm restricting myself as well. It's not totally money, because the tickets are fairly cheap and I'm lucky that being still living with my parents, I don't have to pay for education or food or clothes on my own (YET :uhoh: ), but.. I'm just really worried about burning out. I went to a ton of gigs in September, and I think the Strokes gig just killed me :laugh4: so I'm taking November off. Phew. It feels nice!!

Maximo are opening for New Order next week, I planned to get a ticket today, but I just really cant. Especially when they're only opening (although Paul said they're gonna be on for atleast 45mins to an hour :( ) Tickets cost a bomb. I'm pretty gutted, but hey I can't complain, i've seen 'em twice now, met Paul lastnight, and they'll be back doing promo stuff for album no.2 in the spring and then touring again :dance:

Haha, oh yes. I'm almost done, I just have to write my essay and finish my brag sheet. I just really hate bragging about myself, it's so unnatural.... :\ I'm going to be glad when it's done!

 

Well, I'm only applying to two schools right now. Eugene Lang (which is part of the New School for the Liberal Arts right in New York City) and Hampshire College (in Amherst MASS). Eugene Lang is my number one choice, so I'm doing early decision. I'll be getting my apps in in the next 2 weeks, and I'll hopefully find out by December 1st-15th. DOn't worry, you will KNOW where and when I get into school. My screams of joy will be heard across the country. *keeps fingers crossed!* I'm hoping to study english and writing (focusing on journalism) and minor or double major in photography. The thing about Eugene Lang is that you can take classes in the other New Schools. Guess what's part of the New School.....

 

PARSONS! That's where Tim Gunn teaches and project Runway's filmed!! So if I get excepted to Eugene Lang, I can take classes there!! It's such a great art school. I'm really hoping.... :nice: Then I can meet Tim! :laugh4: I hope I hope!

That's part of the irony. Its a horribly long story...but I'll make it short. I had applied to Miami's Art school(the school I actually want to go other than Parsons!:angry:) and was accepted and blah blah blah. Then due to certain circumstances(Ok, pretty much the choices my idiotic dad had done:censored:) I couldnt move to Miami. So yeah, whatever I decided to stay in lovely Orlando(note the sarcasm). So I applied here to 3 different colleges...but the problem is that there isnt a decent art school round here:angry: Gah. So I was ok by having a minor in graphic arts until I move to NY which I plan to do so next year or so. But, turns out I had applied to late to this one college and now I start until January...Its sort of good cause it gives me some extra months to think about, expand my portfolio and the such. Im pretty much a bum for now:laugh4:

 

 

Eugene Lang...I had a friend who was interested in that one. I love the fact that you can take other classes as well. Wow, english and writing. I pictured you doing that as well, you have the mentality of one(Yes, trust me:wink:)
