EXCLUSIVE: KATE IS HAVING A BABY

SUPERMODEL Kate Moss is pregnant with Pete Doherty's baby, his uncle said yesterday.

And gardener Phil Michels added that the couple were overjoyed at the news.

He told the Sunday Mirror: "I have spoken to Pete twice about the baby and he has confirmed that Kate is pregnant."

It will be 32-year-old Kate's second child, after four-year-old Lila Grace with her ex, publisher Jefferson Hack.

Pete, 27, has a three-year-old son, Estile with former partner Lisa Moorish.

Phil said he spoke to Doherty on Friday when the singer called him from Italy, where he is performing with his band Babyshambles. The rocker told him Kate had had a scan, everything was fine so they were happy to share the news.

Kate, who has been relaxing in Italy with drug addict Pete, is expected to make an official announcement in weeks.

 

Phil, 57, Pete's favourite uncle, added:

 

"That is why they want to get married. Pete told me they want a baby together to cement their marriage.

 

"I am made up for them. I wish them every success. They're so happy, they love each other. I can't wait for the wedding - we are just waiting for a date."

 

Two weeks ago, the Sunday Mirror revealed Kate, estimated to be worth £25 million, and Pete were trying for a baby.

 

Pete rejoined his bandmates for the gigs in Italy after quitting the British tour earlier this month following orders from Kate - known as "The Millionairess" by his close friends.

 

Heroin and crack addict Pete - who had just finished a successful month-long stint at the Priory Clinic in Southgate, North London - had started using again.

 

He was spending up to £500 a day on drugs. As a result, Kate told him to pull the plug on the tour so he could continue rehab with her at his side - away from the druggie lifestyle on the road. Those concerts have been rescheduled for next month.

I’ve just come back home from the shambles gig in rimini. it was amazing, really. for me, it started as a nightmare as I couldn’t find the venue. I’ve been driving for about two hours, back and forth on the same road. luckily, we managed to get there right on time. as I entered, I spotted adam and mick but I was too shy to go and talk to them. then I noticed there was a lot of people standing at the bar - it was because pete was there. he was posing for photos, signing autographs and stuff like that, and he looked very calm and relaxed. he was very kind and nice to the fans - he has been at the bar with them for about twenty minutes or maybe more. then the concert began. the band was just great, the atmosphere was fantastic, pete sang well and he seemed to be enjoying himself very much (he looked fit and healthy as well). he said a few things in italian (how cute!), he talked a lot with the audience, he threw a microphone to the ceiling and the mic got stuck between the lights (it was hilarious), he broke a light with his guitar etc.. a girl managed to get on stage and kissed him twice on the lips - that was pretty funny, too. kate wasn’t there - I mean, not on stage. the gig started with can’t stand me now (slower than the original), then (in random order): Pipedown, Beg Steal or borrow, Loyalty song, Killamangiro, Time For Heroes, La Belle et La Bete, What Katie did, Fuck Forever, Albion, Sticks and stones, Janie Jones (really good!) and Smile (I’m sure there were other songs but I can’t remember them right now). They have been playing for an hour and twenty - best moments were killamangiro and fuck forever. The gig was just great - I wish I could express what I feel more properly, but a. my english is crap and b. it’s four in the morning. if you have the chance to go and see babyshambles on this tour, do it - it will be an amazing show.

Maybe people don't know all the music, but I know that the gigs I go to for small bands that are LESS known than Shambles are actually always close to being sold out. Aw man I definately suggest getting to the venue early. Dude, listening in on soundchecks is so much fun LMFAO I know I sat and watched DPT's. Carl wasn't there, but they played a version of the Pad's 'Panic Attack' which was fuckin' amazing.

 

 

 

Yeah, I definately wouldn't know what to do though.... I know I sort of clammed up with Didz and Stan around, even though they were literally sitting next to me on the pavement. It just freaked me out in a big way. And that was THEM! Let alone PETER.
