I'm doing this thing for school so I thought I'd get everyone's opinions on my teachers choices..

 

 

So.. which one do you like the most?

 

I'd say Stairway to heaven

Stairway to heaven BY FAR! It's my favourite song of all time! :nice:

I love Rock Around The Clock. I mean it came up at the hour of birth of ROCK'N'ROLL. April 12th, 1954.

(exactly 24 yrs later, there was a important hour of birth, too ^^)

I said Queen just because I love them

i miss some other songs :/

I miss Freebird by Lynyrd skynyrd, but Stairway to heaven is :thumbsup:

stairway to heaven would have been my choice if Queen wasn't up there.

But I gotta say that Queen is my all time favorite rock band.

Oh...difficutl....Queen and Led zeppelin

There are better songs by each of these artists.... And there's DEFINATELY better Zeppelin songs. Honestly, I've never really seen the appeal of Stairway To Heaven (well, I've got to say, it does have appeal at 4am when you play it backwards....:stunned: ).

 

But I do think that Bohemian Rhapsody is a no contest, AMAZING song. So I guess I'll vote for that. While keeping in mind that this is the most cliched poll ever.... *has issues with certains songs defining bands and eras*

Yeah, and a lot of shit about a toolshed. LMFAO It's definately there, I've listened to it every which way and yes. It is there. As for the meaning of it, well, Jimmy Page did dabble quite publicly in the "dark arts", and occultism. Kind of creepy....

Stairway to Heaven is, however, one of the most overrated songs of all time. Except for the solo. The solo's amazing, I give it that. Particularly live, which I have a few of.

 

Personally, I think the best Led Zep song is Bron-Yr-Aur Stomp... But then again, no one knows what that even is. LMFAO
