YAAAY!

i thought i was insane, actually, but in hearing it about 7 times since thinking of it, i can't deny that it basically IS the opening of COL! :P. originally my brother was watching TV and i heard that noise and my head snapped up because i thought COL was on TV for some reason...my goodess.

i order coldplay tickets tomorrow, or attempt to. even though i'm somewhat of a master at this...i'm really REALLY nervous that i won't get anything. i had a shit day today and i think i'll just be 100% crushed if i don't get anything...

good luck!!!!

  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

thanks! :D

i've never not gotten tickets before, and i've done this literally hundreds of times, but i just have this bad feeling...eeek.

the thing is, if i can't get reasonably priced tickets tomorrow (meaning anything from official vendors...those are reasonably priced), i'm just going to end up spending hunks of money i don't have on tickets on stubhub or something...NOT good.

anyway, sorry :P

Same here. I have to try for Dallas tomorrow and Houston next weekend. I'll be a nervous wreck until I have them.

my advice is take the first pair they give u

Yesterday I was sitting in my room, and air-condition was on. In the same moment I had two thoughts . One was that I'm COLD and the other one was I need music. I turned off air-condition, and turned on radio. And Viva La Vida live was on. Than this guy on radio said: "If you are Coldplay fan, dont turn off your radio, because we are playing the concert that was in London. So keep listening."

Off course I kept listening. Concert was so great... And now I want to go to their concert even more than I wanted before...

It looks like I'm going to have great seats in Hartford, CT with some friends from here and one from Boston. The last place I expected to end up seeing Coldplay was Hartford, but I'm not complaining!!:D:D:D:D

:laugh3: That's what I said last time round, but it was still the only place we could get good tickets (the Boston pre-sale having sold out much faster, apparently) so off to Hartford we went. One of the best weeks of my life. :D

Wonder if they're playing the same venue?

"A Rush of Blood to the Head" (the song) is amazing.:smash:

I watched Live 2003 last night, and it was awesome as usual.

And I had a Coldplay dream! I woke up really happy. :D I dreamt that they were playing at this small venue in my city, the Norfolk Scope, and my friends and I were outside like an hour before the doors open and it was freezing cold and drizzling, and Coldplay walked out! :D And for some reason my mom was there, and Chris was walking through the crowd and saying hi to random people, and he gave my mom a hug [my mom and I were separated, I was standing with my friends], and then he walks past me and taps me on the shoulder and goes, "Hi, how are you?" and I went "I'm fine, and yourself? :nice:"

And I got autographs from the guys :D but I woke up before the concert actually started, damn. hahaha.

*Bump?*

Well, my mom has a crush on Chris Martin too. :P And every time they're on tv or whatever I tell her. But when the Today Show aired we were driving up to maryland and I told her I was going to miss it she was like, "Well, me too!! I love Coldplay!"

And I'm not going to explain this quote, but my friend said: [joking, but it's the truth]

"Jenika, all you do is pee and listen to Coldplay. :dozey:"

And right now I have a song on repeat [Not a Coldplay song, surprisingly] and i looked at the play count and it was 42!

ok, so on saturday night, i flew from JFK to london and then amsterdam. for the JFK to london part of the trip, i got first class and VIP access because my mom's best friend's husband is the vice president of british airways. the entire thing was SOO nice and mindblowingly fancy, but also a little weird. anyway, i got this person assigned to me at JFK that followed me around and escorted me places (which was REALLY weird), but she does that for all the famous people. she took me to the concorde room, which is like this freakishlt fancy first-class passenger lounge for VIPs, and said "oh, yes, all the celebrities come in here, from mother theresa to madonna. i'm just sorry that there's no one famous here now." i said "oh, that's ok, but it's just that my favorite band is in new york now, and it would have been hilarious if they were here when i was."

she asked me "oh, who's your favorite band?"

i said "coldplay." she looked as though the name stirred something in memory, so i elaborated: "you know, chris martin, the one married to gwyneth paltrow?"

her face lit up.

"ohh, them!! yes, they gave a concert on monday, right? such nice people, and what cute kids! yes, they were here on sunday; they sat right here."

and i looked like this: :dead:

i know it's not like i met them or anything, but...THE SAME ASSISTANT WAS ASSIGNED TO CHRIS AND GWYNETH THAT WAS ASSIGNED TO ME. :freak:

Woooooow! I wouldn't have been able to stop myself asking really silly questions, so good job it wasn't me who met her :P

:laugh3:

I can imagine something like

Chelsea talking and walking with that woman... bla bla bla... bla bla bla

Chelsea sees 2 cute little kids running and playing and thinks "ohh i''ve seen this kids before"

Chelsea sees the kids' mother and says... ohh I know her.. she is.. she is OMG

Chelsea sees the kids' father and dies :dead:

Lore, if they happened to be there when i was, i wouldn't have made it to amsterdam. i would have died right then and there.

i decided not to be annoying and ask a million dumb questions, but my mom could tell that i was trying to figure out which couch they sat on in the VIP room etc etc :P

:laugh3:

i'd do the same thing I guess

Oh My God !!! this is actually so freaking cool ! :stunned:

I'm kinda jealous, weirdly..

Saturday, I was like daydreaming in my car while going to the market and I thought of this.

A Coldplay concert. It´s all still dark and they began playing Life in Technicolor. When the song ends, we see all the light, and the band playing Politik. Kinda like they did on the last tour: Square One and Politik right away. Magical !

But then some stupid was honking so I could move cause the lights were green :dozey:

My brother asked for a copy of VLV today. He's always been a fan of them. And my friend called and said that she liked their new stuff. OMG. I'm converting people left and right! Or maybe VLV is, idk.

WOW...just WOW....:stunned:

:laugh3:Aw, c'mon now, they're just peeps like you and I anyways.. I can only imagine what their kids go through, though.. To be famous is one thing, but to be the children of famous people is quite another! Oh well, they'll do fine - just gotta be a different way of growing up..
