September 13, 200817 yr i seriously almost handed a paper in the other day with 'coldplay' written like five times in it instead of 'could', 'care', 'cheesecake'. :stunned: I'M SO GLAD I CAUGHT THAT. :D

September 13, 200817 yr ^they said they were going to start playing it again... we should just make them hold up the end of their promise!
September 13, 200817 yr I think VIVA LA VIDA is our unofficial song for my graduating class! First day of school, it was the first thing they played at the meet and greet event, and now they played it during the "flashback" slideshow during our "Senior Class Coming Out" (basically it's an assembly where the Seniors get to introduce themselves with a skit [that usually pokes fun at the lower classmen!]). As soon as it started playing in the assembly, I stood up and yelled I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG!!!! hahaha. Of course, no one heard me, because EVERYONE was cheering and singing/clapping to the song! I want VLV to be my graduation song next year!! (Wow, that sounds so weird to say....I'm graduating next year!) :nice: It so apropos!
September 15, 200817 yr i took dancing for PE class this year and we're to make up a choreography that either has african dance or sort of roboter dance elements in it. we can choose the music ourselves and we really wanted to go for the african dance thing because that's what we've been doing a lot lately and i like it much better than imitating a machine. :P however, i suggested to go for "lost!" hahaha. we're allowed to involve an object and we went for drum sticks. i hope it's gonna be pretty ace, but we haven't thought up a choreography yet. :laugh3:
September 15, 200817 yr ^cool! I just watched chris on extra's again... he should have his own sitcom....
September 16, 200817 yr I was watching 'The Soup' the other night, and they were showing these clips of different shows and two of the shows had Coldplay songs in them. I think 'Reign of Love' was played on One Tree Hill and something else was on Gossip Girl or some other show like that. And I have to wonder: why do such shitty shows use Coldplay?? First it was 'The OC' with Fix You.....:dead: Ugh. Some are good, like Scrubs and all...but really.
September 16, 200817 yr hahaha Gossip Girl is my guilty pleasure. it's the stupidest show i've ever seen in my life but that's what makes it so relaxing to watch.. you don't have to think :P
September 16, 200817 yr is my siggy a tad too big? lol. i don't like that i have a square avi and sig. they don't go together. but now i feel bad cause it took me such a long time to make that cupcake picture!

First it was 'The OC' with Fix You.....:dead: Ugh. Some are good, like Scrubs and all...but really. in some ways i really agree, but in others i don't. i love coming across a coldplay song (or even just a reference :P) in unexpected places. there's never been a coldplay song on gossip girl (believe me, i would have reported back here), but i think i'd kind of really like it if there was. hahaha Gossip Girl is my guilty pleasure. it's the stupidest show i've ever seen in my life but that's what makes it so relaxing to watch.. you don't have to think :P ^ditto. i really have NO idea why i watch that show at ALL, i actually don't even tell people much that i do, but yet i still watch. it's definitely a guilty pleasure, but i have a hard time even thinking WHY it's a pleasure!
September 16, 200817 yr It's more so that they work up the song to be 'the OC song' or something like that that bothers me, I guess. It's nice to hear Coldplay, I suppose, but somehow in the back of my mind I can imagine those hair-twirling girls at school going on about how much they love Coldplay because they heard it on 'The Hills' (and believe me...that has actually happened!!)
September 17, 200817 yr In the XFM interview the guys had a laugh because Chris the word 'oftentimes', which according the rest of the guys is not a word.Well I almost laughed out loud in class yesterday cause my professor used 'oftentimes'. He is a great famous scholar and historian so I'm just gonna follow what he said and use oftentimes :) Anyway, I laughed when he said it
September 17, 200817 yr Haha! Oftentimes. I know how it is to almost burst into laughter because of some 'Coldplayish' thoughts, when you really shouldn't.
September 18, 200817 yr I just went to go get some dinner in one of the dining halls on my campus, and they were playing AROBTTH. At first I thought it could have just been the radio, because The Scientist was playing, but then Daylight came on next!! I started singing along (obviously) but my friends clearly thought I was crazy because they music was pretty low and they couldn't hear it. I guess it was just my insane Coldplay radar kicking in. :)
