Last Friday I was really excited because I wore my VIVA La VIDA tour shirt to school. When I got to school all i heard all day was "Viva La Vida, what does that mean, what does your shirt mean??" I know I can't believe it either. Well one of my friends got it...I was so dissapointed that no one else did though...

They just used Reign of Love in the new One Tree Hill episode ( what my roommates make me watch :rolleyes:)

My random moment was.. i was cleaning out my binders from last year for the new school year (which is tomorrow btw!!).

And.. i found an assignment for my 'careers' class.. where we had to make a complete portfolio of your career and volunteering sessions, etc, etc.. so one aspect was diplomas.. and for my job application it was A&R at a record label.. (btw.. you can bullshit it, and pretend like you've graduated university, etc etc).. so i said i was already working at a record label.. and anyways.. so i made this fake music recognition certificate.. and LOL.. the certificate was:

 

Presented by Mr. Chris Martin to Manisha Gupta for outstanding skills and musical talent.. LOL and i did a lil fake siggy and everything! I totally forgot abotu that.. it was def a RANDOM coldplay moment :D

 

Edit: NO WAY MALEY! I LOVE THAT SHOW.. but im recording it.. i dont watch it live.. OMG THATS SO EXCITING!! they've only used coldplay once before.. i think the track was amsterdam.. but omg.. thats ironic too because i put reign of love in my msn name today.. and now its on OTH :D yay.. now all my friends will all of a sudden like it as if it wasnt around before.. i hate when that happens.. its like you tell them and they dont listen.. but its ont TV or it becomes number one, and its OMG I LOVE THAT SONG.. like where have you been..

 

WOW this is probably my longest post !

Hahahaha... my friend IMed me a few minutes ago with a "Coldplay Alert" and instructed me to turn my TV to the CW. I don't even watch One Tree Hill or really know anything about it, but I definitely enjoyed the Reign of Love.

Now Violet Hill.... two Coldplay songs in one episode...? I'm still not gonna like this show :rolleyes:

i really have no idea why i watch that show. it's embarrassing, yet i watch more often than not.

i love them. i knew it before, but they made me realise it again tonight.

 

however, when they played "politik" as part of the encore i had some sort of weird déjà-vu. sometimes when i listen to music i come up with weird stories. i like writing short stories and coldplay does inspire me from time to time and when i once listened to "politik" about a year ago or so i came up with the scenery of coldplay playing "politik" on a stage of an empty theatre dedicating the song to someone who has died. well, and from the angle i saw them tonight it looked right as in my imagination.

it was sooo strange.
