  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

The Coldplaystreet in Lent, The Netherlands :wacky:

oh and i want to say that back when i first getting to know Coldplay i couldn't tell the difference between Johnny and Guy :embarassed: but now i love and appreciate both of them (it's not a random thought but i felt i needed to say it:nice:)

Me too! And I have no idea why, because they don't look anything like:thinking: But yeah, now I love them both:cheesy::heart: I love all of them actually:D And it's weird for me to think back to the time when I only knew about Chris.

OMG :shocked2: aneloes I SO wanne live there

I'd wanna live at 42 Coldplaystreet, a yellow wooden house just around the corner from Violet Hill (wow that's a lot of Coldplay references )

OMG I want to live on Coldplaystreet! Was it legit named after Coldplay, or was it some sort of strange coincidence...?

In Bucket For A Crown" one of the lines is "captain of a sinking ship". I smiled. There was another song like that with a line from a song that came later but I can't think of it

Violet hill ^

:nice:

On one of favourite shows they had a coldplay joke.

It's like a music comedy quiz.

The presenter was asking all these hard questions and then just added this one in.

•How many members of coldplay can you fit in a 1985 mini cooper?

• 4, there are 4 seats and 4 members of coldplay so its simple really :P

^ I heared that one somewhere

I was going thru my old binders and I found a post-it from January with this on it...

"I hear Paris' wedding bells ringing,

Verona's Italian choirs are singing,

Be my Romeo and Ill be your Juliet,

Death won't get us if we don't let it.

For some reason I can't explain,

I know love stories will call our names.

Never was there a story of more woe,

than this of Juliet and her Romeo"

Thats from when I read Romeo and Juliet

I know its from Violet Hill silly :P

I meant that there's another old song/demo thing that has the same line as a different song made later on

I guess that poor Phil is forgotten once more :(

He is the secret 5th member!

And now I am thinking of this: Today someone wrote somewhere that Jonny would always associate the "C" (on a teeshirt) with Chris. I disagree, because the name of Jonny's wife is Chloé (starting with a C) so I suppose that Jonny would also associate the "C" on a teeshirt with Chloé depending on the situation.

I actually don't read,

i can :laugh3: but i just pick out keywords.

I've gotten worse in the past few weeks and i just don't read :stunned:

What does Phil actually do? :P

On the wiki page for Viva La Viva Or Death And All His Friends,

In the Personnel section, ( all the people who worked on the album )

Here's a small section from it.

Olga Fitzroy – assistant engineer, engineer

Phil Harvey – performer

Rik Simpson – mixing, producer

Tappin Gofton – art direction, design

 has he ever performed?:laugh4:

Reply to EmmaLouiseSmyth wondering about the nature of Phil's performance:

YES, when one of them has birthday Phil Harvey brings the birthday cake. That is some kind of performance too.

I understand that Phil used to be their manager (before the present one whose name is Dave Holmes or something like that). It was a very stressful job after which Phil had to take a break during which he studied psychology.

There's this street near at our house, it's St. Martin street. My busmate and I were like  to that street before, but the reason why had nothing to do with Coldplay or C.Martin. It wad another Martin we were referring to. But know I remember the Chris one.

i remember the first time i saw that episode.

as soon as the first piano bit started, i was like "EVERYTHING'SNOTLOSTOHMYGOD:freak:"

Haha, I think that was me!

I stand by my claim that he will think of Chris first :smug: ;)

My last customer today (I'm a waitress) ordered cake and it cost 42 crowns! It was awesome :D
