in other news, i took a photo of my clock at 1:36 AM a few days ago. it looks kinda cool.

 

and i graduated from high school on saturday and can't get "brothers and sisters" and "yellow" out of my head, and i cant hear them without crying.

Awhisper, lol, nerdy Chris is great! I also have the picture where it came from... I wonder why the others don't look nearly half as nerdy. =P It must be the glasses. :lol: What is Johnny holding? His report card? Nah-- No one can be that proud. LOL

i've seen this thread a lot but i've never opened it... until now

I had my first ever uni exam today and while I was waiting outside the room I listened to Parachutes. Partly because it's a relaxing CD, partly because the first song is called Don't Panic :) I only got up to Spies though and then I replayed Don't Panic then I stopped listening.

was working out today and a fat lady came in and started stretching in front of me.....for some reason "how you see the world" popped in my head.....lol

In various lectures at uni, the lecturers have said something about how one see's the world and I always think of Coldplay.

 

I found out earlier today that my friend Darren likes Coldplay! Apparently at his work they have the radio on and the station plays Coldplay often (I've got to start listening to that station) so now he likes Coldplay. I got over excited and started doing a kind of jumping-jig thing in my chair (it was over msn) and sent him five songs - he did ask for 3 of those five though so I wasn't pushing it too much upon him.

was watching ebert and roeper over breakfast this morning, and before the commercial break they said something like "when we come back: video reviews including coldplay, paul mccartney, david bowie, and more!"

i absolutely FREAKED, thinking it was a new single and a new music video and sat two inches from the TV during commercials, but when it came back it turns out that they were reviewing the Glastonbury DVD, which had all of those artists in it. blah. i guess i was pretty stupid for thinking that there was something new.

 

in other news, debs said the website will probably be up next week. if it doesnt have valuable info about the next album on it, im going to cry.

^DAMN IT, the ONE freaking time I miss the show they mention Coldplay. Just my luck. :laugh3:

 

Anyway, random thought: I want to go to another CP concert. So bad.

^ Oh I know how you feel! I would give anything in the world to see CP live. But I'd probably have to sit in the back somewhere... :( BUT STILL! I'd just love to see them.

 

Random thought: I live in an apartment complex, and there is a nice/clean public pool where I live. I went there this evening to take a dip when I saw a pair of Adias that looked like Chris' shoes. Not only that, but I also saw a classy black jacket and pants! I started to look suspiciously around the pool area for Chris. I was thinking that he went swimming or something... lol, I swear! It was his clothes! It was very strange.

 

I never found out who they belonged to... But I didn't see Chris. :P

My sister said that there was something about Coldplay on one of the music channels the other day but she can't remember what it's called. She said she didn't call me because she figured I would have seen it already. I wish she would've called me just in case I hadn't seen it.

 

Oh, and today the same sister was talking about how a lot of music these days all sounds the same. She said "You know what, Nadia, I give you props for liking Coldplay" she said that at least Coldplay sounds different to other stuff.

i was on the bable fish website (which is a website that you can translate words into a bunch of different languages) and chris' s face popped up on a huge ad haha.. when i first saw it from the corner of eye i thought i was my brain was just making it out to be chris:P

Amsterdam, to me, is one of the most relaxing and yet depressing songs I have ever heard. and yet, it is my favorite coldplay song.

i was in Coles the other day w/a friend & they started playing Don't Panic and i got really happy at getting a random Coldplay experience since i hadn't had one in a long time ! but the song kept skipping toward the end of the song and so Coles played the song over again. but then it skipped towards the end AGAIN ! :veryangry: ahhh, why don't they take proper care of Parachutes so it doesn't skip ?!?!

yesterday my mom and i were watching tv and that chrysler commercial with that total rip-off of clocks in it came on, and she was like "that is ridiculous, to use clocks to sell cars!"

 

and then at dinner, my mom said something about my brother's friend chris, and he was like "chris...smith?" and she rolled her eyes and was like "no, chris MARTIN." i almost choked on my pasta.

I know, that car commercial totally ripped off clocks! I was watching tv and it came on and my neice goes, "Isn't that Coldplay?" So it's official, I play that song too much. :P

OMFG Vh1's hottest celebrity couples is on. They showed a little clip of Chris Martin from the Scientist vid and I'm waiting for them to talk about him and Gwyn....

last Saturday I went to the disco and I was sitting drinking a cocktail with my cousin and the Djs put some music on and 1 or 2 green lasers started and I was thinking:"aaaaw!!! Clockssss!!!:P:P:P"

watched shaun of the dead with my mom and brother yesterday, and i was getting really excited around the time chris as a zombie was going to show up. i was like "ok, it doesnt LOOK like him, but you can tell its him by the way he moves" and when he came on screen i was like "LOOK ITS HIM!!!" my mom was like "i would have known that was him any day of the week. look at how he moves!" even my BROTHER recognized him.

it was pretty funny. i only saw that movie the first time because chris was in it, but now its one of my favorites.

 

another thing: my brother has my old cell phone, and hes keeping clocks as his ringtone. i think he's becoming a closet coldplay fan.

my brother was whistling "clocks" so much today that i said "why dont you just put it on your ipod?" he said chris was too whiney for him, so i said i had the intstrumental version and made him listen to it. he pretended to be completely bored, but i caught him grooving once or twice.

 

and i work with little kids over the summers, and today we were making goo. they all wanted it to be yellow, so for a while they were chanting "YELLOW! YELLOW!" and obviously it made me think of "yellow".

At work on Saturday it was pretty dead for the first hour or so, so the other cashier and the decanter and I were just talking. The other cashier asked if I'd been to a concert before and I said I'd only been to Coldplay's concert and the decanter was like "Coldplay? Those guys rock!" I did a weird happy jump when he said that because it's not often that I meet someone who likes them. The other cashier was like "Oh, I wanted to go to their concert" and I got even more happy that she likes them too. That made my night.

 

Lately it seems like I've seen quite a few guys who somehow remind me of Chris. Weird thing is that, often, they don't really look like him at all. :confused:

They played Trouble at work today and I loved it:thumbsup:
