when i was working at the Canadian National Exhibition (this summer fair)...i was working in the Food Building and i was incredibly bored and suddenly i heard an organ in the distance...and it turned out a couple booths down, someone was playing Fix You on the stereo! and then the familiar drum intro of In My Place started playing =)=)

Max Martin works with a lot of pop acts, like Backstreet Boys and he produced/wrote Britney Spears first two albums, unless thats a different Max Martin. :lol:

im now approaching the potential new song titles with a bit more of an open mind. i mean, "yellow" sounds like kind of a lame song title, and so do songs like "in my place" and "sleeping sun" and those are three of my favorite songs ever. im just going to have to wait and see.

^ Yeah, I think everyone is overanalysing the song names. I like them so I'm a bit bias but I just think it's not something you can judge a song by. Coldplay have many strange songs titles.

 

I share a room with my sister and she was saying to me that her friend told her that at night, the eyes of posters are the devil's eyes staring at you. This month on my Coldplay calendar it's got Jonny on it and his eyes are a bit intense (for lack of a better word) so now at night it kinda freaks her out when she's trying to sleep. Lol. She's 16 though, she's a big girl now. She'll get over it eventually hopefully.

 

I'm really hanging out for this new album. I can hardly wait for them to start touring again. At least the timeline website is keeping me happy though (apart from the Bigger Stronger video not working).

im the same way, waiting for the new album, and then after that, the touring. i go to college in january, not far from philly PA, so once they start touring again i plan to train in for all their philly concerts i can get tickets to, and then go home to attend hopefully all their NYC concerts if theyre on a weekend. im working now too, so hopefully i can fund these excursions! i really want to splurge on one ticket, too, get the best seat i can just once. it would TOTALLY be worth it.

 

see how much im anticipating this? ive even begun to plan out how im going to make it to their hypothetical concerts!!

i saw "you,me and Dupree" yesterday, but the strange thing is Fix You featured in the film. and that version i haven't heard before even not like an album version. anyone noticed it?

Today I was watching an interview with Chris and I've noticed that he smiled really really cute:)I started to think that he's quite handsome lately,hope it won't make me ignore their music:P

I also have decided to not spend on anymore concerts and save for the next year for CP shows and like you all want to get at least one good seat, cause like last tour, that one good seat is worth it and the rest of shows, you can relax and enjoy from anywhere. :)

i walked into stop and shop yesterday and they were BLASTING "fix you" over the sound system. of course it kept being interrupted by PA announcements, but it was nice that it was playing quite loud, where in most other stores and places they play their music rather quietly.

I've been hearing/seeing Coldplay more than usual on the radio and the music tv channels. It's a bit strange because usually I don't hear them much at all.

i was cleaning out my closet space in my room when i dug out my Coldplay concert memorabilias (X&Y tour book, ticket, keychain).

 

i can't wait for their new album either!!

in my Communications tutorial, there's this guy who looks just like Chris...maybe a younger version minus the curly mop top...and his name IS Chris :stunned: i must talk to this guy

i ordered a bunch of stuff from coldplay.com a few weeks ago and it came! a poster for my dorm room (but while im waiting i put it up in my home room for the next three months), X&Y keychain, patch, and an old AROBTTH tour program, which im so glad i got. its great.

 

watched that zach braff movie "the ex" a few nights ago, and in the beginning he and his wife are trying to think of baby names, and he says something to the effect of "we dont need to pick a name out of a book, we can make up our own, like apple."

i count that as half a coldplay reference. well, it made me laugh.

 

i also found the MadTV parody of the SOS video on youtube. while its COMPLETELY unfair to chris and not true, i found it hilarious. i felt as though i shouldnt be laughing, but i thought it was great.

I always get excited when i hear coldplay in stores, movies, etc.

 

I know its a bit "Selloutish" but you gotta like when you are at a bar/store and your favorite band comes on! makes me :-D

i did a double-take at the mall today when i thought i saw will eating a sandwich in the food court. it obviously wasnt him, but besides the black hair, it could have been his TWIN.

 

my coldplay keychain has proved lucky: i passed my drivers test with it!! i previously failed, and the only thing different this time was the keychain. i rest my case :smug: :laugh3:

Thanks :D! I would so get one for my test but I think that it would be delivered after the test... I think it usually takes something like a month for Coldplay merchandise to be delivered to me and my test is in three weeks. I might wear my Coldplay top and bracelet though.

Yesterday I went to the cinema and, you know, they're always playing music before the film and guess what was playing? :smug: Obviously they were playing X&Y, I heard The Hardest Part, White Shadows and A Message..

I was browsing in Angus and Robertson (bookstore) yesterday and saw some books that were collected transcripts from Enough Rope with Andrew Denton and I found the one that had Chris' interview... it was nice to read it - but I was on my break so I couldn't read much, but I went back today in my break and read some more.

 

Also, this morning the shopping centre my work is in played Talk and it really made me happy - especially because it was only my second day at that work.

was in the mall today and i was passing the apple store when i saw the window display. they have these three HUGE fake new ipod nanos in the window, and on the blue nano there's a picture of chris!! i HAD to go in of course. on all the pictures of the new ipod nano in the store, chris is on the screen! he was everywhere i looked! and as i was passing one of the tables the speed of sound video was playing on one of the ipods, so of course i had to put on the headphones and listen to it.

 

also, parachutes is the BEST album to drive to at night.
