They're so great... It's been more than 2 months since I met them and I can't stop talking about that,..,. they're reallly nice with the fans and that's so cool :nice:

Had a dress-down day today (go to a catholic school). Wore my Coldplay Twisted Logic Tour t-shirt and my used my new singles box set bag. :)

My boxset doesn't come til next Friday, I think.

 

I love Coldplay's music so much... gosh. A couple of times recently I've been upset and all I have to do is put on a Coldplay CD and I calm down and feel so much better. They help me breathe... haha, they're like air for the soul.

I'm still waiting for my box set. Maybe it will arrive when I'm back next week.

I don't know if I would have bought mine... It's quite expensive. My family bought it for me for my 18th birthday, which was nice of them. Now all I need is a record player! Hopefully the boxset will arrive this Friday.

I love Coldplay´s music very much. It makes me relax and distract myself from the other world, and be in my own world.

The other day I put on Parachutes while showering (including washing my hair) and it cut 10 minutes off my average washing-my-hair-shower-time! (I didn't listen to the entire CD whilst showering... I didn't take that long)

i got my boxset two thursdays ago...i havent been on in forever! but i luuuuuurve it and im so glad i bought it. it took be a bit of a long time to figure out that some discs/sides need to be played at 33 RPM rather than the usual 45 RPM, though, which made me laugh. and i wish the set had included "sleeping sun" "proof" and "no more keeping my feet on the ground". those are some of my favorites.

 

friday was my last day of high school, and now im on an independent project of writing a screenplay. but i wont see my friends for a month until graduation and the week where we all come back to tell about our projects, and friday was a really tragic day for all of us. ANYWAY, my point is that "brothers and sisters" is such a perfect song for our lives this past week. it fit so well it was scary. ive gone to the same school since kindergarten and ive known most of the kids there for that long, so they really are my brothers and sisters.

Today the guy sitting kinda infront of me in my lecture was drawing on his page (a bit of a boring lecture) and it looked to me like he was drawing waves... and Crests of Waves came into my head. Lovely.

Today, after loooong looong time (maybe 6 months?), I heard on our radio station about Coldplay :D Hehe. It was something about that in 1.5.2005 they were first band after Beatles which single Speed of sound was on Top 10.

today i realized that my coldplay coffee/cappuchino mug that came with the box set does NOT hold very much coffee. I spilled starbucks all over my floor trying to carry it to my computer and made a real mess because its so shallow. ah well. it still says COLDPLAY on it!!

i wish id gotten the bag as well, but i was broke. grr.

I got my box set yesterday! I came home from uni and there it was. I was very happy and today I played them all and I called up my friend Krystal because she's the only Coldplay fan i know and I knew she'd appreciate it. I have the messenger bag and mug as well... I think I'll use the bag tomorrow when I go bridesmaid dress shopping (my sister is getting married at the end of the year and I'm one of six bridesmaids). I'm not sure about the mug... it's so short. I don't think it will hold much tea in it (I don't drink coffee)... but maybe I can have cup-a-soup in it.

 

The box set is extra special for me because it means that the first records I ever owned were Coldplay!

I find that when I meet new people, I tend to wonder whether or not they like Coldplay.

^HAHAHA!! i think i do this too, though on a more subconscious level. though i often wonder if my roommate in college next year will like coldplay and my type of music. that worries me.

 

i went out with one of my friends this weekend to catch up. we're all on senior independent study for 5 weeks, where all the seniors take up internships or projects (im writing a screenplay at home). ANYWAY, this particular friend is working at my other friend's grandma's restaurant in new york city as a chef. its a pretty high-class restaurant and famous people eat there all the time (bono, natalie portman, politicians, etc). i told her that if chris martin walks in to eat, she needs to CALL ME ASAP and ill be on the next train. she said ok, but then a minute later she was like "but i hardly even know who he is!" i gave her the nutshell version of the coldplay education. it was pretty funny.

maybe you had to be there. sorry.

 

also, when she was driving me home, a song came up on her ipod called "green." i was thinking in my head how strange it was to write a song named after a color when i smacked my head for being an idiot: "yellow", perhaps my favorite song EVER, is named after a color. i really can be an idiot.
