My first song of 2011 was Viva La Vida because that's what Coldplay was playing in Vegas. :awesome: and it was also my last song of 2011 since that's what Coldplay played right before the countdown to 2012 on PBS. :wacko: I love that song. :heart: So first song of this year Charlie Brown! :D We'll see what my last song of the year will be this time. :P

had a dream last night that they played about 30 songs for 2 hours for 100,000 people. Johnny was wearing MX era clothes, Guy was wearing X&Y era clothes, Will wearing ROB era clothes and Chris was dressed up in his viva civil war uniform. It was amazing :smug:

 

I know they'd probably never release a Greatest Hits album, but that would make such an awesome cover if they did!

 

First song of the year was IMP from Abu Dhabi. Way to go, Jonny-boy!:D

When you start your day off with X&Y then ROB around noon, Viva and MX in the afternoon, and finish off the night with Parachutes. :smug:

Went to bed after Austin City Limits last night. Woke up this morning, changed some channels and Coldplay Glastonbury was on. Watched CP videos on Youtube most of the afternoon. Tuned in to see ACL again tonight. I love those boys.

I'm a recent fan and I only discovered this song on TV, with this performance. Fell in love instantaneously with the song. So beautiful :wacky:

Nowadays, she's more on the Coldplay camp. (The Chris Crush is paying off. :lol:) She said: 'The difference between those two bands is that Coldplay are more sparkly and real. Bono has a big ego, he doesn't really show his true self, while Chris Martin is a more honest and warm person. U2 are so heavy and huge, but with Coldplay it comes straight from the heart.'

I'm convinced that if everyone listened to Coldplay the world would be a better place.

And that's not just 100% me being biased, I genuinely think their music and their lyrics and just them as a band would make people happier and more caring. :heart:
