YAY FOR SHAKA HISLOP!!!! that man is amazing! trinidad and tobago has awesome defense, they were really good at keeping the swedes out. i was rooting for sweden, but i switched halfway through the game, TT was a total underdog story :)

 

as for the england/paraguay match-eh, so so. not too horribly exciting. i had to wake up at friggin 745 in the morning, even though i'd already pulled an all nighter :P owen and crouch were making me a bit mad. becham has a magical leg and neville and joel proved themselves to be very good players.

 

i hate watching the world cup over in the states bc they air the games at absurd times, and i have to stay away from the computer bc everyone's always talking about whose won! i found out last night that england won and it ruined the whole match for me :(

 

can't wait for US and czech republic!

These white fuzzies were pollen. The commentator said it during the game. ;)

oh. well, i missed the first half of the game, so when i tuned in i had no clue what was going on. god help those who have allergies. thats like death on a stick right there. that's a hell of a lot of pollen....

The England match as a big yawn, i actually dozed off. Good result for Trinidad & Tobago they did well to hang on for the draw, i wanted the Swedes to win.

 

Looking forward to the Argentina vs Ivory Coast match coming up next.

Yeah, my friend won a card for Argentina - Ivory Coast! He drove to Hamburg today.

 

Wow, they just showed the moment again when the Ivory Coast won their ticket to Germany. Camerun missed a penalty in minute 95. It was so incredible! The players of Ivory Coast heard it on the radio after their game.

At least the Sweeden draw has taken some pressure off england.

i watched the sweden/TnT game.... it was awesome. i say congrats to TnT especially since it was their first world cup game ever. yorke played well. so did hislop. isnt he gkeeper for west ham?

I agree Argentina - Ivory Coast was an amazing match! it kept me at the edge of my seat. I really wanted to see Ivory Coast get that ball in :dance:
