Of course there are difference between Catholics, Protestans, and other denominations, why do you think they separated?Most of the world's big religions have different denominations. Btw "false religion", that totally makes no sense.Every religion claims to be the right one, and the only true way to salvation(or enlighment in some asian cases).Besides there is a difference between what Jesus thought, and Bible in general, old testament doesn't contain any of the Jesus' teaching at all, but is still considered important because Christianity started of as a Jewish sect. And infant baptism isn't exclusively Catholic practice, Eastern Orthodox, Lutheran, Metodists, and Presbyterians do it as well.
