Childish Gambino on June 19th, and debating whether or not it's feasible to see Radiohead on June 16th.

It's not on until the 31st of August, so there's more acts to be announced.

I had only started listening to her the week before the line up was release, I think she might be an act I'll go see :nice:

  • 1 month later...

Sharon Van Etten's live show was perfect. Every detail of the mix was spot on; funny banter. At the end of the main set they played a 10 minute version of 'I'm wrong' where the lead guitarist's tearing up a cello bow, the drummer is improvising jazzy riffs and sharon is screwing around with atmospheric effects. All that led seamlessly into 'A Joke or a Lie' which felt more like 'Gitardjamm' than the album version.

Oh, and Flock of Dimes (Jenn Wasner of Wye Oak) opened with a really epic electro-rock act. I talked to her afterwards, and apparently there's going to be an LP under that name coming out this summer.

I hope to see Coldplay with my friend (if his dad lets me have his ticket), deadmau5, Daft Punk (if they ever make an album and go on tour), Train, Maroon 5 (maybe), and/or possibly even Calvin Harris.

What I have lined up...

Some shows I have coming up...

May 2nd ~ James Morrison

^ I've got an extra ticket for Sigur Rós

  • 2 weeks later...

Graduating soon so I'm leaving my summer schedule relatively open for work purposes (unlike last summer where I was at a show every week):

6/1 - KJEE: Silversun Pickups, Garbage, The Naked and Famous

8/10-12 - Outside Lands (Foo Fighters, Jack White, Stevie Wonder, Franz Ferdinand, The Kills, Regina Spektor, Bloc Party, Justice, Andrew Bird, etc.)

10/7 - Florence and the Machine (show #7)

10/9 - Metric

10/12-14 - Austin City Limits (not 100% but very likely, lineup pending)

Depending on my availability, I may also see shows by Beach House and Hey Rosetta.
