I went to see Roger Waters on Friday night and it was that phenomenal I had to go again Saturday. I have been to see all those shows on the first page, and this blew all of them out of the water. Amazing to experience, if it comes to your city, go.

Here's a great review of it:

It's a shame I haven't planned any festivals for this year :( It feels weird, seeing at least 2 festivals during the summer used to be some kind of ritual for me... Well, I guess everything changes when you're forced to grow up, get a job etc. :D

I'm going to Øya for at least one day, so I'll be seeing Bon Iver and First Aid Kit (who are amaazing), and maybe Feist, Florence and a few other if I go another. That's in august, though.

and Susanne Sundfør just announced some Norwegian dates, so I'll be seeing her again in april, and hopefully have a new Susanne album in my hands by then :nice:

I'm going to see Roger Waters in one month in Buenos Aires! I can't wait, I'm so excited! Finding tickets was so difficult, what a stressful day it was. I bought them in August, six months ago.

April 24- Sharon Van Etten with Flock of Dimes (Jenn Wasner of Wye Oak)

It's funny since I've seen both Sharon van Etten AND Wye Oak open for The National. Both were great, and I honestly didn't know a thing about Sharon beforehand.

Been doing a bunch of free shows this month. Caught free mini-performances by Nada Surf, Gotye, and Coldplay (lol) earlier this month and then saw My Brightest Diamond last night.

Cursive and Veronica Falls will wrap up the month for me, as it's been a very fruitful month for free in-store shows and free TV tapings.

Also got tickets for The Temper Trap next month, then of course comes the Coachella madness in April. Seriously contemplating ACL later this year, especially since the Bonnaroo lineup is good but not quite good enough for me to throw down the travel expenses.

Concerts I've been to.

The Holiday Makers and When The Cats Away, when I was young. They were both New Zealand bands who have since finished.

I've also been to a Westlife concert a few years ago. All three concerts were held in Wellington.

Coldplay came to New Zealand to do a concert in Auckland in 2009 or 2010, but I couldn't go because I was saving up for an overseas trip.

This month Roxette also came over here to do a concert in Auckland, but I've had to miss out on that too and this is also because of saving up to go overseas.

I saw Young the Giant on Feb.9 at the Fillmore SF

I did not enjoy it as much I thought I was. Unfortunately stupid drunk people ruin concerts sometimes :(

That said, I did enjoy "cough syrup" But i feel i enjoyed the opening act A LOT better. They are called Walk The Moon and they played so well, I cant wait to hear more from them :D

I want to go to EdgeFest so bad! Tickets went on sale today. The lineup includes the Black Keys, Cage the Elephant, and Arctic Monkeys. :) I also want to see Florence and the Machine, but tickets sold out before I could grab some up. :( I'm gonna try stubhub the week of the concert and see if I can grab some cheap tickets.
