The Oasis Thread

Meh...

I used to really like Oasis. This last album for me has been a dissapointing effort. Not gonna go into detail but i just think they have lost what they once had. And their guitar duels and solos are not up to scratch either. Dont get me wrong. Its ok. Its just not a "Whats the story morning glory"

Much respect to Kasabian though. I only heard the one song. {Club Foot} But the song i have heard is impressive. :D

That's the problem with people, they are always comparing oasis back to the hey-day of 1994/5 when DM and Morning Glory came out. Those days are gone, they will never relive those moments because they are getting too old for that.

Peace Out

Dave

Does anyone have an mp3 of Wonderwall.

Love of Sin City, Oasis and the beatles (from ur location) - your a top gal in my book :) :P :D

Low C is a brilliant song. ;)

Let There Be Love is great, as is everything on "Don't Believe The Truth" by Oasis. Better than X&Y!!!

DBTT is a great album, but I think that "The importance of being idle" and "Who put the weight of the world on my shoulders" are better than "Let there be love".

That's not true. :P 'Let there be love' is definitely my favourite on the album....it's such a beautiful song! But I like the others as well.

i love both the new supergrass album and the oasis album :)

bought the 'goal' soundtrack that oasis have contributed to. it sounds great. all the oasis songs are great.

love the kasabian track 'club foot' a real rocking beat

the bees are good too

To be honest I don't know Supergrass, never heard about them. :embarrased:

1. Morning Glory

2. Definitely Maybe

3. Don't Believe The Truth

4. Heathen Chemistry

5. Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants

6. Be Here Now

7. The Masterplan

But well, I like 4-7 quite the same.

go download grace and pumping on your stereo

I just read a review about the new album of supergrass, where the writer says that they are always "the second favorite band of everyone"... I think is probably true, but after listening "St.petersburg" like 5 times this morning, I think, to be "the second favorite band" is a good thing actually... THEY ARE GREAT!!!!! go and buy the album without any doubt"...

about Oasis, I dont like them anymore.. :snore:
