July 27, 200619 yr So they're just re-releasing Definitely Maybe and What's the Story on a double disk? :P Oh yeah, cos they haven`t had any hits since then  apart from 3 number one albums, 4 number 1 singles and 6 top 5 singles. Yeah, can really see your point.
July 28, 200619 yr Calm yourself. It was sarcastic. I personally think they haven't had a "hit" in nearly a decade and it's only their hardcore fans who believe otherwise. However that's my opinion. Who cares what I think

September 24, 200619 yr I'm a massive Oasis fan from time to time. Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants is my favorite by them. And Don't Believe The Truth
October 4, 200619 yr I concur with Sarah here. We need to have Don't Go Away and Stand By Me on this thing.
October 5, 200619 yr I concur with Sarah here. We need to have Don't Go Away and Stand By Me on this thing. yep, true. those are excellent tracks...
October 7, 200619 yr I know it will never ever show up on an Oasis Best Of Compilation, but I really think Roll It Over off of Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants, is one of their best, and it's my favorite song. Totally agree with Sunday Morning Call there, and Who Feels Love.
October 7, 200619 yr Ooooooh Roll It Over :nice: I love that song too! And is 'All around the world' in there? Totally should if it's not.
October 7, 200619 yr http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6xUUZb5NdwY anyone seen the "lord don't slow me down" film trailer yet? it's awesome in my opinion... looks really nice, amazing crowd moments (memoriiiees!) :cheesy: it would be too great to watch it in the cinema (lucky you, if you're able to!) but a dvd should be kinda nice as well, hehe. can't wait! oh, and I think I like the new song, btw :nice:
October 7, 200619 yr hey you guys, im new at this thread, but i've liked Oasis for about 4 years now, they've never really been on my top 5 fav list, but lately i've been listening to them alot. The first album that got me into them was Be Here Now, by the way, cuz i noticed u guys were mentioning it. My FAV song on that, even more than Stand By Me, is The Girl in the Dirty Shirt, and its such a shame how underrated that song is (at least i think it is). I also brought for them Morning Glory, Dont Believe The Truth and Heathen Chemistry. I need to check out some more of their stuff, because they're really a good band. So I'll check around here more often to see whats going on :)
October 7, 200619 yr Yea, Be Here Now is where I started with Oasis too. It's Getting Better Man is my fave off that one. If ever there was an Oasis song that sounded like the Verve wrote and performed it, and Liam just put in vocals, it's gotta be Roll It Over.
