What I find even worse than people calling Coldplay gay is the fact that homosexuality is used as the insult. It's completely idiotic. I'm straight, but I can still realize that making fun of people for their sexuality is terrible. It's really not something people should use as an insult.

I have never understood the whole "Coldplay is for gays" thing. It is a silly stereotype that, in reality, is unfounded.

It is stupid. It's because they sing high notes and don't kill people' ears with distortion, and because they actually write about real things, not just sex and drugs. Fuck those who are too shallow to realize it's just music, not something that defi9nes your sexuality.

Anyway, the the thread title only states "Coldplay are for gays", not exclusively for gays, in which case its creator appears to be merely pointing out that Coldplay fans include gays.

This is therefore purely stating what we all knew anyway - that Coldplay's music is all-encompassing.:smug:

If I ever hear someone say "that's so gay", or any phrase using "gay" as an insult, I yell at them... We had a whole discussion about it at my school a couple of years ago, when saying "that's so gay" was really popular :\
