HOW TO GET TO HEAVEN WHEN YOU DIE

I realize that people don't like to be called "sinners" but if you look inside your own heart you will know that you are not perfect. I know I am not perfect. I am not pointing my finger at you. I am trying to warn you that you need Jesus. If we could go to heaven by being a good person, then Jesus Christ died on the cross for nothing. He came because we couldn't save ourselves. Here is that hard part for most people: In order to be saved, we must humble ourselves before God and admit that we are sinners and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. The prayer at the bottom of this first post does this if you pray it from your heart to God. Please do that. I am not judging you, I am telling you what the bible says you must do to be saved, that's all.

I'm not addressing those who already know Jesus and pray. I addressing those who don't. I like Coldplay as well.

Please read this first post and pray that prayer at the bottom of it to God from your heart.

Evolutionists cannot prove that:

1. Time, space, and matter came into existence by themselves.

2. Planets and stars formed from space dust.

3. Matter created life by itself.

4. Early life-forms learned to reproduce themselves.

5. Major changes occurred between these diverse life forms (i.e., fish changed to amphibians, amphibians changed to reptiles, and reptiles changed to birds or mammals).

6. How did an a sexual reproducing organism evolve into 2 sexes?

7. How did a 3 chamber heart evolve into a 4 chamber heart?

8.

The next question I would pose to an evolutionist/naturalist is whether he considers himself moral. If you uphold yourself to any moral purpose whatsoever, you fail to live up to your worldview. As an evolutionist, you should act purely out of utility. Survival is your main goal. Of course none of this makes human experience intelligible given the fact that no one acts this way.

If you disagree with this theory, I ask you, do you steal from the blind? Survival of the fittest right? Would you steal from the blind if it were legal? Many atheists, evolutionists, naturalists, etc wouldn't. Because they are good moral people. They, however, don't live up to the obligation of the way they see the world. You aren't living up to your duty of primal survival. You are actually capable of things totally independent of natural selection, like love...even for those who have no impact on your life. Every dollar you give to the homeless, and every hour you volunteer, you do not out of utility, but out of love. Your goodness causes you to fail to live up to your worldview.

I usually don't get involved in religious bullshit, but I'm curious to see the response to this from someone who is deeply religious:

What makes the Bible and Christianity correct? How can you prove that your religion is the right one? There are so many different branches of the same Christianity, and all claim to be right. What makes Catholics any more right than Protestants?

Hinduism has been around for thousands of years, and is possibly the oldest existing religion today. What makes the much younger Christianity 100% correct and Hinduism, Taoism, Buddhism, or any other older religion 100% wrong?

If you really know that your path to God is the correct one, you can answer this without quoting the Bible (which was compiled by not divine humans) and without just saying "Because I know in my heart that Jesus will save me". Give me real evidence. If you can, perhaps I will say the prayer, but I highly doubt you can.

Hmmm....

I shall quote Mr. Chris Martin to represent my current belief status-"Alltheistic".

I shall quote Mr. Martin as well:

"I believe in Zeus"

I loved Greek mythology.

Zeus and Hercules pwn

Prometheus got completely wrecked

Demetrius was my fave.

We named a whole huge litter of kittens after gods/goddesses....it was cute.

Roman/Greek mythology is fantastic, and seems to make a lot more sense than this Christianity bull.

Time, space and matter can be measured (that means science can measure it)

althought at the begin they didn't had the machines to can do that. (pretty interesting to check what i'm saying on The Time's traveller story by H. G. Wells for instance).

thanks to some factors like the sun, the air (and it's components) and some fluids, it can happen, like for instance how a virus can spread in something.

we've been told that it happen because those forms have changed their habitat, so it needed to evolve and change some parts of themselves to adapt to the new habitats.

i would ask myself, how some animals that we can think is not as important as human beign, can change their sexes to their wishes and needs, as for instance fish.

it has been said that if on a fish colony there are more members of one sexes some of those members of that colony change their sex to can reproduce.

i've been told at school, that organs are independant, in the sense that can change themselves, so that is simple, it needed to create a 4th chamber so heart ended creating what it needed to work properly.

human feelings i don't think must be too connected with evolution itself... it has been said that first humans developed certain feelings that turned to acts, like protect kids.

kids naturally look as they need to be protected and it makes us develop the need to protect them, but i don't think it has connection with evolution itself.

first of all nick, for instance if i don't agree with some politic ideas, but i do respect them and i don't insult them saying those ones are bullshit and mines are good.

when does Frodo has said that he only refers to Christianity or Catholicism? ... the thread title don't say that, just says to pray god (whatever you belief is).

The only catholic reference he has said is mention Jesus, but both judaism and islam recognize Jesus as a prophet.

I loved Greek mythology.

Me too, that's why i can think that if really God exists, may be is so like greek mythology, i mean that can have its own mood change ;)

anyways my opinions have been said here before (i think), at times i believe and at times i have many doubts, honestly i feel better thinking there's something more than what we can see, don't is the same to believe just in science, we've decided that a kilometre is a kilometre but it could change, proof of that is that the ways to measure it have changed, or as we believe that there are certain stars, but we can see them just thanks to machines, so we can't see them by ourselves, for me that's the same as the existance of not of any God, we can believe in it even if we have no means to see it.

currently is not the fact of believe or not, but what is proved Historically is (sure all religions and cultures have make mistakes in the past, that's human and religions and culture have a lot of human beigns following and leading them), that religions have developed some society ideas as how to organize a town or what is right and what is wrong so thanks to that we have ideas like recycling and solidarity, and the fact (now officially protected by law) that every human beign have rights that nobody should deny.

Well done, you've certainly converted me!

okkkk, and if they had talked, would they have said too much already?

I said before, I am open to have my mind changed. He can say all he wants, and I will listen. But silence is just sad.
