I'll start.

 

My favourite Coldplay lyric is the end part of Politik;

When chris sings "Give me love over, Love over, Love over this...."

It just send shivers down my spine every time I hear it.

That song was about many things,

including 9/11 terror attacks, and just wanting to feel anything but that.

and so that really moves me, I think the end part of Politik is the most coldplay have come to moving me with music like that, even more so than the end of Fix you.

I think my favourite part has to be the end of 'Clocks'("You...are..home, home, where I wanted to go"), I just think it's an amazing climax..it's if he was screaming for rescue. But Fix You ending is a strong second on my list.

but I like the version on the toronto show, and the glastonbury 2005 performance aswell as the 2003 dvd version.

 

Coldplay are one of those bands that shine when you see them live

there's something about their live show that makes great songs phenomenal!

I LOVE amsterdam, it's so nice and finishes on a high,

the lyrics really are awe inspiring! :cool:

It's just so emotional and raw, and it really gets me through those tough times.

right now i very much want to go home (i'm at uni...bleh), so it fits right now. but i've always loved that lyric...there's something about the idea of home that gets me. i regard my home as a hodge-podge mix of my house, my old school (which i'm very attatched to; long story) and the surrounding towns.

i just really love the image of a house-lined street at night with streetlamps and the windows in the houses glowing and someone walking down the middle of the street.

^ooh, me too! a lot of those lyrics fit my position and thoughts right now. i like the demo better than the offical version, actually.

"For you I bleed myself Dry" is amazing.

 

This list is pretty close to mine, the 42 lyric is great.

 

I'm so surprised "A Message" has only been mentioned once so far...the end of it is the best.

Yeah, the way he sings "And I love you, please come home" sounds so emotional. You can hear the pain and pleading in his voice.
