Other then the maroon 5 comment, the song sounds almost Muse-ish, which in no way is a bad thing. The pounding chords that shift over to white noise and then piano, and then the queen comment just made me feel like thats where its headed.

Maroon 5 comment ignored, the details of the interesting intro, white noise, and jonny's curling, dare I say, sexy solo, is bone igniting. I hope it doesn't end up sounding like any other pop song, because it's described in such a way that makes it sound truly awesome and unique.

Let's look at what we have:

 

1. A synthy, bubbly guitar intro that builds up. (check)

2. A stalking, bluesy beat (check)

3. A "curling" Jonny guitar solo. (check)

4. Amazing lyrics by Chris Martin, featuring his breathy voice (check)

 

I think it's safe to say this song is going to be rather decent, at the very least.

I thought MTV said the lyrics were "If you love me, why'd you let me know?" Which I thought was a nice little bit of songwriting.

apparently there are two different lines through the song:

 

1.- If you love me, why'd you let me go?

 

2.- If you love me, won't you let me know?

 

I like more number 1 - that's all I was saying

yeah that really pissed me off too. What you have to do is copy the entire link. clicking on it didn't work. copy from the the very beginning to the VERY end. The blue link stops at like *47 or something. copy the whole link even after the blue and it'll work.

 

They should really fix this as many people are likely to get as pissed as i was! I wait three years and can't sleep the night before. I finally get the link AND IT DOESN'T WORK!!! Let's just say I wouldn't have wanted to be around me at that point!
