🌙 COLDPLAY ANNOUNCE MOON MUSIC OUT OCTOBER 4TH 🎵

A SAD FEELING :-(

KH.7.20HeARTS

Do you remember the first time Coldplay`s Music made your soul your mind your heart dancing ? The rythm the melody was so unbelievable , when you felt in love just with that sound ?

I MISS THAT NOW

Violet Hill is good and A Spell..... also ``GOOD`

BUT REALLY ; THEY DONT MAKE ME FEEL EUPHORIC OR THEY DONT MAKE MY HEART JUMP; IT FEEL WHEN I HEAR THE SONGS ; THE MELODY-STYLE HAS ALREADY EXPLORED IN MUSIC-HYSTORY AND BRANDED IN MY MIND; SO I FEEL ONLY GOOD AND I GET NOT KICKED OUT OF MY SEAT!

I feel its a normal thing , nothin really mindblowin

Where is CHris who sings his soul out of his body , and the rest have blood on their fingers while playin their instruments ?

My feelings

Who feels the same ?

greetings Jan

I think you should think about the first time your heard In My Place. A good song, like you say, but rather radio friendly, then think about how you felt after you heard the rest of AROBTTH...

Give them a chance, you've only heard a single and a B-side. ;) They may still surprise you yet :)

I hope they will surprise my ears and my heart .

But the first Song was Shiver i heard from them , and i was kicked by all songs really at the first ( ok sometimes second) time . But then XY was not really breathtakin , and now violet hill hmmm. i miss that music that has been sung under tears and under love , with full body.

you know what i mean ?

I know how you feel. For me, it feels like Coldplay just left. I hear a different band now. That's what's making me sad all the time. But, like everyone has told me (because I posted a thread similar to this) they told me to give it time and wait for the album. You can't base your entire conclusion off of one song and a b-side.

I know how you feel, I know exactly how you feel. Maybe more.

I know how you feel, i miss the way i would feel when listening to the older coldplay songs. I dont know if i can get those feelings with this new record.

I will still always prefer the first two coldplay albums. i love it all, but the feelings I have just arent the same. =/

Yeah your right , we should wait and be patient , maybe we find that what we miss in the whole album .

Lets cry together now :( but with a flag in the right hand `` We stay patient and we hope``

aww, well, the another thing that my friends on here told me was that, you'll always have the older music. It's not going anywhere so A Rush of Blood to the Head will ALWAYS be a good song and a good album no matter how many... other... songs they decided to dish out to us.

es wird okay sein freund. :P

Chris Martin: "Not everyone will like the new album" -

Don't be sad 'cause the band's style has changed - be happy because of the songs they left when they had their old style!

Ahh Thanks! :)

they have to grow and change in order for them to survive. they can't keep making AROBTTH clones, it would just get boring after a while and I think Coldplay realized that when making this album. I'm not worried, I look towards the future with confidence!

I couldnt agree more!!I think a lot of fans still havent accepted that the band are evolving their sound and growing. And when that happens their music is going to sound a little different. They arent going to sound like they did when Parachutes came out.Its only natrual when a band are growing and exploring new things. Its not like this is out of the blue.Theyve only told us to expect something different with this album.Personally i would get sick of 4 AROBTTH albums.I love their direction!

Wow, sombre thread.

My first coldplay song was A rush of blood to the head and I remember thinking this rocks and is so powerful. Then I heard Twisted logic and though, wow this sends a shiver down my spine.

It's not that coldplay's left, it's just that they know how to evolve just like radiohead and u2. It's pathetic to keep clinging onto parachutes or waiting for the AROBTTH coldplay to return because it won't, if their last two albums sounded just like parachutes they wouldn't be half the band they are today. The next album has always been very different than the last, get used to it.

And what's all this stuff about them not playing there hands bloody? You don't find violet hill to be aggressive instrumentally? and as or more passionate than half the songs I can think of..

Anyway we should be grateful because violet hill and especially a spell a rebel yell sound completely different than anything they've done before. It shows they progress, and it shows creative and artistic merit. Yet it seems like all anybody can do is moan that it doesn't sound like shiver, or it doesn't sound like AROBTTH. Should radiohead's have made their fourth album an O.K. computer clone because of all the praise they got for it? Please, let the band be who they are... instead of trying to make them be who we think they should be. Learn to appreciate an artist's new direction and we'll all be damn grateful in the end because of it.

Don't you worry, wait til Viva la Vida comes out, THEN make your decision. I remember feeling this way when Speed of Sound came out. Good song, but not BRILLIANT. Then, X&Y came out. Top class album. I have every confidence there will be something for you on Viva la Vida, so chill til then!

If you took the time to focus on post-parachutes coldplay you'd see that same music can be found in AROBTTH, X&Y and will appear in their next album. (Warning sign springs to mind), I don't think anything you miss has gone missing.

coldplay have to evolve or change is the nature of life. and another important thing if coldplay make arobtth 2, or 3 they have the risk of a break up and their career is gonna be insipid nothing like u2 or rolling stones. is change/evolve or break its that easy. life or death like the album. and i love violet hill is a awesome song i can hardly wait for the album.

awwww! How cute!

Well based on hearing the a spell a rebel (I keep typing A spell of Rebel) it def. sounds like another band and another style.. but I'm still hopeful. I'll always love the old songs and they'll always bring me back memories.. but I'm still excited about the new album and seeing them live (hopefully if I win some damn tickets!) but I like what I've heard so far..

Yeah, the neat thing about coldplay (and it really shows in radioheads music) is that there isn't one altogether "coldplay sound". Like, if I was randomly switching radio stations the day violet hill came out and stumbled across it, I wouldn't of been able to tell if it was coldplay until I heard Chris's vocals. We classify Coldplay more in terms of that parachutes vibe, or that X&Y feel because they are such a swiss army band. Nice thing about that is it serves to make them more dimensional. A coldplay for all occasions whether or it's partying(clocks, talk, white shadows etc.) or just being mellow on a rainy day(sparks, don't panic, trouble etc.).
