chileandude1
Whats your favorite line or phrase? Mines: Just because im losing doesnt mean ive lost (lost?) when the futures architectured, by a carnival of idiots on show, you better lie low. (Violet hill) Oh brother i cant get through, ive been trying hard to reach you cause i dont know what to do (talk) Said im gonna buy a gun and start a war, if you can tell me something worth fighting for. (rush of blood to the head) I use to rule the world, seas would rise when i gave the word (viva la vida) give me one cause one is best, in confusion confidence (politik)
TraceOddity
It's always been 'Nothing matters more than life and the love you make.' (Crests Of Waves) I haven't picked a line from the new stuff yet, but that line from Lost? that you quoted is up there.
xsarehardcorex
Not from lyrics, but I do love when Chris says "Life is miraculous, even when it's disastrous, it's still incredible, I'm fascinated with everything, life is fascinating, I'm fascinated by trees and dogs, but no one wants to hear me talk about it." from one of the Toronto concert interviews. Classic Chris :laugh3:
Saffire
It's always been 'Nothing matters more than life and the love you make.' (Crests Of Waves) I haven't picked a line from the new stuff yet, but that line from Lost? that you quoted is up there. When I first heard that Crest of Waves line I thought, "Gosh that's so irresponsible. You damn hippy." But now I realize it's true. Oh, and Chris said it so much better than that overrated band... what were they called again? ...the Beatles, yeah. "All you need is love, love is all you need". Give me a break. I've always been partial to the lyrics of Clocks, because they're so profound and so simple - "You are" is sort of like acknowledging God exists, and "home, home, where I want you to go" is like going home to life after death. It puts such a positive spin on death and it really helped me cope with my grandfather's passing away a few years back. I'm not a very religious person but I do believe in God and heaven (of some sort).
Hyphin
I love my 'sig' quote, from Proof. I really like, JUST to name a few, because the truth is, I wont have the time or memory to get all of them here: "If you love me, won't you let me know?" "It's true. Look how they shine for you..." "All the words in Fix You" (one of the best songs they have ever come up with) "Once you'd gone, there was never, never an honest word" "...Everybody's out to get you...don't you let it drag you down..." "...You mean more, mean more to me. Than any color...I can see..." "You belong with me. Not swallowed in the sea..." See? That's off the top of my head. I'll unDOUBTEDLY come back to post more. just_a_spy
Well, let's see, so many...Aside from what's already been said: The lines in my signature. I just love that whole song. It's probably quoted to death, but "Nobody said it was easy./No one ever said it would be this hard." - The Scientist "And the wheel just keeps on turning, the drummer begins to drum./I don't know which way I'm goin', I don't know which way I've come." - 'Til Kingdom Come. I can only imagine what that song would've been like had Johnny Cash lived to record his part. From the new songs: the first half of the chorus of Viva la Vida, from "I hear Jerusalem bells" to "missionaries in a foreign field". Probably to be continued
Carolyn Marie
But I'm on fire for you, clearly. And I could write it down Or spread it all around Get lost and then get found... Maybe you get what you wanted Maybe you stumbled upon it Everything you ever wanted In a permanent state And I wanna fly I'll never come down And live my life And have friends around

livethelife16
I've always really liked that quote form Chris about what type of people Coldplay fans are... makes me laugh every time!! :D But some of my favorite lines are: "Tell me you love me..."-The Scientist "I came here with a load, And it feels so much lighter now I've met you And honey you should know, That I could never go on without you..." and then later when he says: "Anyone who tried to deny you, must be out of their mind..." *sigh*- Green Eyes And of course the beginning of 'Lovers in Japan'.....GREAT LYRICS!!!! :D

SwallowedInSea
I don't know if I could pick one (or even just a few, for that matter)... I'll have to come back to this topic though. Every time someone names one of their favorites, I'm like, "oooh yeah, that's a really good one!" Hahaha. :D

Christa42
"For you, I bleed myself Dry" which is quite heavy so on the lighter side I love it when Chris says on the live 2003: "I'll buy you all some Ice Cream" I love that. I say it all the time to my friends at home and they have no idea what the fuck I am talking about. don't care.
CookyMnstr
Since you mention that it reminds me how much I love Chris saying (also from Live 2003 DVD) at the very end of the show: "...please eat more chocolate, and please listen to more Coldplay..." Umm, no problem Chris, those are two of my favorite things to do in the world! Especially at the same time:lol: (and I've got a few fave lyrics, but can't think of any at the moment...but when they pop into my head I'll come back here and post hehe)
